Terrible TV

Terrible TV

This TV set has earned it. First one failed within the first 12-months. Best Buy, to their credit, replaced it. Replacement TV set failed about 18-months later. Same problem with both sets, the main board failed. In both cases, the TV software slowed down before the board failed. Really a terrible TV, and I would never buy another TCL after this experience.

Our TVs do come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. I abe tried to search for ways to fix the issue but nothing helps. Apparently this is an issue with the TCL brand.

Slow interface
