I have had this tv for less than 2 years. From the very beginning, it was very slow to react to the remote. Apps would crash or not open at all. Recently, the tv started to just go blank after 15-20 seconds. Turn it off and back on and same thing. Tried all solutions on the internet and through TCL support but nothing would bring it back to life.

Good quality, no glare screen, light weight. Had a problem with the picture going out. Contacted TCL and after submitting documentation, received a new, replacement TV in a timely manner. I would purchase it again.

I should have gotten the Roku version. Google TV is kinda weak.

Great TV. We bought this one and another TCL. Fully loaded with features- search across all apps at once for show or movie, talk into your remote like an Alexa, screen casting, remote control from phone...you name it. Amazing value. Buy TCL products before they raise their prices!

I'll start by saying I bought a 40 inch TCL tv 16 years ago for our garage. Our garage is heated by wood stove only part of the time. In mid-Michigan, most of our winters are below freezing so that tv has been hot and cold every winter for 16 years and we've never had a single problem. It still works perfectly. So when it came tome to purchase a new tv for the house 12 months ago, TCL was the only logical choice. What a colossal mistake. We don't watch much tv, I haven't turned it on in probably 10 months. My husband watches once a week or so. When I turned it on today for the grandkids, spent almost 10 minutes trying to pull up a specific movie, then got so frustrated I finally shut it off. This thing lags (not WiFi-related, the remote-response is just seriously slow), the voice commands don't work at all, the search function is useless, and I will never own another Google platform tv. This was a huge waste of money. Had I realized it was so awful, I would have purchased a different TV this year when they were all on sale before Christmas. This thing just needs to go in the trash.

The sound out of this TV really sounds like a tin can. You will want to front up the money for a soundbar, learn the setting to fix the motion smoothing unless you like to feel motion sickness, and toy with the backlight setting due to it jumping from being dim as crap to someone turning on a spotlight. Once you turn all that crap off it really does have a great picture and the fact that it has the Google play store means you have a good few options for app and *possiblity* the ability to sideload apps as well.

Absolutely love this tv. The smoothness of picture quality is amazing. Real 4k. Google tv is so much better than roku. I have a same 55 inch in roku but its picture quality doesn't even come close to this google one.

This TV went into the spare room but the options on this unit with the wifi apps and options are what make this TV an excellent choice. The TV is receptive to the remote, the color and clarity is great. The overall price for the options you can not beat. Although I am a Samsung TV person this was indeed a great selection for cost and variety of options.

Great quality. Clear screen and good colors. My TV is in the same room with a ton of windows and the natural light does not affect the brightness.

This tv was a great fit in the room that I needed it in.

Great picture and easy navigation through the apps. Can also use voice control to tell google what you want to watch, or which app to switch to. Easy to hook up a sound bar to it as well.

This TV serves its purpose in a spare room, however, the picture quality is definitely not for use in a main room or everyday use. For the price, its perfect.

Good TV, price was a little high compared to others

I have a TCL 6 series in my living room, if you too have a much more expensive TV this will not compete. Where this 4 Series does compete is the low-end price point. The google TV features are awesome! Display isn't as bright as I'm used to, but definitely bright enough. The speakers are good for the price, connectivity is good as well. I use this for company gatherings, and as an alternative to a projector mainly. Will pick another up in the future for my kid's bedroom. Main Con : Viewing angles are bad lol, if you're not looking straight on the colors wash out including elevation. If you're using this TV, make sure you place it close to eye level from your viewing location!

This tv is pretty great! Pros: Quick user interface Good remote 4K HDR Pretty good color accuracy Lightweight for mounting Cons: Display isn’t very bright Sometimes the UI freezes, not often Sound is pretty terrible, get a sound bar Viewing angle not very very wide, but good enough At the end of the day, this is a great TV for a bedroom or play room, I would spend the extra couple of hundred on the 6series if this will be your primary TV

We bought this for the Florida room for an additional TV. Where the kids can go watch their shows, or I can go watch sports. Its a great addition. Good picture. Solid color.

Excellent tv, service was great. The guys putting it up did a great job showed me how to work it. I wouldn’t go any where else to buy a tv, computer or printer. Great customer service.
