    When it worked, it was really good. The sound and the picture was good. I have had this TV for a little over a year (purchased March 2022) and it has now gone out. Just a black screen with the backlight on now, no interface at all.

    Not the sharpest picture.....It is not a Sony, not a Samsung when it comes to picture definition.

You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. Additionally, you can access expert picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. The Roku mobile app works as a remote and allows you to access additional features like voice search, private listening, expert picture settings, and more.     No picture after warranty is gone.

    This was my first Google TV. I have others from TCL, but this one lasted just past the warranty and the picture decided to die. After researching the issue, I found it to be typical of this model. Leave it off for a day or so and it might give you a picture.

    TV lost picture after 10 months..it was the main TV for my elderly parents. Best Buy does not repair TCL you have to contact TCL go thru their test steps. They sent out a tech about 5 days later who could not fix it..TCL then told me they would send a new TV. I contacted them after 12 days to see why I haven't received the replacement. "We are sort, we don't have any available. We will just send you a check to refund you. " Here we are a month later and I finally received the check. Whole process from the start tool about 2 months. Will never buy or recommend TCL again

    This television is a great buy and the 50” version feels very large. Debated between 50” and 55” and have found the 50” to fit the size needs with quality graphics.

    This TV has the soap opera effect pretty badly, and it’s not very effective at diminishing it with adjusting the picture settings. The background blacks are very pixelated in addition to the poor picture. I am glad I didn’t spend much on it, as I will most likely get rid of it soon.

    This TV is worth every single penny. The quality is more then we could ask for and the sound that comes from this TV is amazing. Watching movies or videos in 4k is absolutely awesome. I highly recommend this TV.

    The TCL 4 series is one of the best budget 4k TVs out there. Picture quality is very good (at this price point). I got this TV in both a 43" and a 50". It is offered in both Roku or Android/ Google operating systems. I went with Google being an android user and I prefer that interface and its capabilities. If you prefer something simple and easy I would recommend the Roku version.

    We purchased the TCL 50" television new from Best Buy 8 months ago. The screen went black. We contacted TCL since it is still under the 1 year parts/labor warranty. We went thru all the steps with them via phone to try and reset the tv. Nothing worked. They want us to send them the receipt and a short video showing the black screen. It will take 7 to 10 days for them to decide what to do about fixing/replacing. After that, it will take more time to replace/fix the tv. This is not an acceptable time frame. We requested to speak to a TCL supervisor or corporate office and apparently there is no way to go above the call taker's head. Needless to say, TCL will never be purchased again.

    The TV was good the first year or so. Then the TV randomly went out and stopped working. I had to unplug over night. It now goes out twice a week. I have never had a TV go out in under 2 years. This is unacceptable.
