Don’t waste your money!

Stopped Working, contacting support didn't help

The screen just went black. Before this main issue I also had another issue of it switching streaming platforms in the middle of a show without any prompt. Save your money. Trust the 1 star reviews. Don't buy. TCL, before you reply with your script saying "We're sorry to hear that you may be experiencing some trouble with your TV. We would love the opportunity to look into this for you to see if we can assist you." know that I did contact your support through the number provided on the TV. After troubleshooting, they told me to go through the warranty process.

Trash after a year

Tried customer service, and once they agreed that pushing buttons on the remote couldn't fix it, they required an original receipt of purchase as well as video evidence of the problem. TV is now garbage and so is this brand. Stay away from TCL!

COMPLETE GARBAGE. It's nice to know this plastic garbage will be slowly turning into micro plastics, and help destroy the environment. Great job making pollution TCL and Google. My old TV from 1980 still works and it has a tube. This new over-engineered technology is such a waste and in so many ways. Glad to see it's discontinued.

Our TVs do come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. We will continue to make improvements to ensure our customers the best experience possible.

First Impression!

Chromecast works great through my phone (resolution depends if I stream from my phone, laptop, or tablet). Apps that are setup to run Chromecast have a perfect resolution! I had to purchase a model through the mail in certified excellent condition and was worried, but everything was perfect, just missing screws for the bottom leggings. Series 4 saved me some $$, as did finding a returned model in excellent condition. Best Buy shipped the product as described in a timely fashion, and also provide the same warranty as new models! I am pleased with this purchase!
