    Got this tv for my Mother for her bedroom. She has raved about the picture quality and sound, I liked the price. She says she watches more tv in the bedroom now & doesn't have to listen to Dad snoring on the couch anymore. Overall, everyone's happy!

    TV remote troubles called TCL. Middle button sticks. called TCL for replacemnt had to trouble shoot over the phone . After 20 min on the phone with them & going over the remote the tec said yes the remote is defective. recieved new remote a week later

    This TV was worth the $300 I paid for it. The colors are good and the 4k seems pretty sharp. It does have 3 HDMI inputs (One of which is eARC), an Ethernet RJ 45 connector for handling the Internet over a LAN cable that I use for my connection to the TV. It also has an old analog video input for old CD players, handycams etc. . It also has both an earphone and optical digital audio output. The TV does not return to the previous channel selected.

    Well, this TV made it past the one year mark, on month 14 the screen went black. COMPLETE GARBAGE. It's nice to know this plastic garbage will be slowly turning into micro plastics, and help destroy the environment. Great job making pollution TCL and Google. My old TV from 1980 still works and it has a tube. This new over-engineered technology is such a waste and in so many ways. Glad to see it's discontinued.

In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage.
