After about a year the tv has no display

Impulse buy Win!!

Waste of money!!

TCL customer service was no help, as they suggested troubleshooting methods that I had already tried. Best Buy is no help, as their protection plan overlaps manufacturer's warranty, rather than extending it (ie: useless!) Now I have a $295 worthless decoration mounted on my wall. I wouldn't recommend this tv to an enemy, let alone a friend!

Our TVs do come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. Avoid this tv

Had for just over a year and the screen went black. Back light was fine, even have sound, just no picture. Happened twice and was able to factory reset the first time, no luck 2nd time

She has raved about the picture quality and sound, I liked the price. She says she watches more tv in the bedroom now & doesn't have to listen to Dad snoring on the couch anymore. Overall, everyone's happy!

Middle button sticks. called TCL for replacemnt had to trouble shoot over the phone . After 20 min on the phone with them & going over the remote the tec said yes the remote is defective. recieved new remote a week later
