    I purchased the tv on sale and have not been disappointed. Pictures is good and the sound speakers appear to also be above average for a tv in this price bracket. It is not a high end model and the features reflect this along with the price. Overall very please with the set and handles my 4K blu ray player. I do not stream on this set.

    The video stopped working after a year of use. Randomly the display started blanking after 2-3 seconds. The TV is on with sound but display does not turn on. Tried everything from support but nothing worked

  • Died in Under 2 Months - TCL Not Honoring Warranty

    Purchased this during a sale at Best Buy. Did so based on many good reviews. I should have read the bad ones. Initially very happy, almost wrote a 5 star review. However, in under 2 months, the TV will now turn on but display no picture and no sound. Outside of the Best Buy return window. Contacted TCL support which is a joke. They couldn't help. After multiple emails, they said they would ship me a new TV, but first said I had to write VOID on the serial. Sent them a pic of this and they stopped responding. Avoid TCL completely. Their TVs are junk and they do not honor their warranty. Best Buy should stop stocking these TVs.

    As a lot of the reviews mention, after having it for about 16 months, the tv’s display has gone out. Sucks because this is the family room tv.

    Well, this TV made it past the one year mark, on month 14 the screen went black. COMPLETE GARBAGE. It's nice to know this plastic garbage will be slowly turning into micro plastics, and help destroy the environment. Great job making pollution TCL and Google. My old TV from 1980 still works and it has a tube. This new over-engineered technology is such a waste and in so many ways. Glad to see it's discontinued.

In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company.
