dead display after a year

Randomly the display started blanking after 2-3 seconds. The TV is on with sound but display does not turn on. Tried everything from support but nothing worked

A Good TV for the money. Slow remote response

The colors are good and the 4k seems pretty sharp. It does have 3 HDMI inputs (One of which is eARC), an Ethernet RJ 45 connector for handling the Internet over a LAN cable that I use for my connection to the TV. It also has an old analog video input for old CD players, handycams etc. . It also has both an earphone and optical digital audio output. The TV does not return to the previous channel selected.

Surprisenly disappointed

Stopped working after 18 months

We figured if it didn't work out, we weren't out much. It lasted about 18 months before it stopped working. It turns on, but does not bring up the home screen. We have tried all the quick fixes in the Youtube videos. My husband has gotten it to start up a couple times. We turn it off and it won't come back up again. I guess we got what we paid for.

Our TVs do come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. Died in Under 2 Months - TCL Not Honoring Warranty

Did so based on many good reviews. I should have read the bad ones. Initially very happy, almost wrote a 5 star review. However, in under 2 months, the TV will now turn on but display no picture and no sound. Outside of the Best Buy return window. Contacted TCL support which is a joke. They couldn't help. After multiple emails, they said they would ship me a new TV, but first said I had to write VOID on the serial. Sent them a pic of this and they stopped responding. Avoid TCL completely. Their TVs are junk and they do not honor their warranty. Best Buy should stop stocking these TVs.

great tv for features at a realistic price

Pictures is good and the sound speakers appear to also be above average for a tv in this price bracket. It is not a high end model and the features reflect this along with the price. Overall very please with the set and handles my 4K blu ray player. I do not stream on this set.
