Stopped working after 18 months

We figured if it didn't work out, we weren't out much. It lasted about 18 months before it stopped working. It turns on, but does not bring up the home screen. We have tried all the quick fixes in the Youtube videos. My husband has gotten it to start up a couple times. We turn it off and it won't come back up again. I guess we got what we paid for.

Our TVs do come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. Died after eight months usage.

Last week it died, the screen flashed from black to gray with no picture, I can see the backlight on but no picture. There is a problem with this TV since so many people have the same experience. After back and forth with TCL, they promised to replace the defective unit with a like one.

Avoid this tv

Had for just over a year and the screen went black. Back light was fine, even have sound, just no picture. Happened twice and was able to factory reset the first time, no luck 2nd time
