Not user friendly

Cannot even pair remote. Headset does not interact with TV. Must plug headphones when want to use. Stil cannot get closed caption to work.compared to last Vizio thisTCL is average.

Once you go open box, you never go back to new

It's OK, but it has quirks

The vol & mute buttons are on the side of the remote - where is where I grab it to pick it up - so I'm often accidentally pressing mute. The remote has icons on many buttons - that don't tell me what the button is for. The 'electronic programing guide' is terribly useless - it shows 'no information' for most channels. I've tried w/ WiFi and Ethernet. The manual (and customer support) says that there is a manual on-off button at the center of the bottom of the TV. NOT on MINE!!! I even tipped the TV sideways to look for it!! The BIGGEST quirk is that it does NOT keep the input selected when turned off/on. I use a DVR connected to HDMI 1 on the TV. I HAVE to SELECT input, HDMI 1 EVERY damm TIME I turn the TV on. And... there is NOT an input button on the remote!! It takes THREE remote button presses to get back to it. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

Not worth the trouble

About three month later the TV would black out and not show anything. It would only come on when the TV is unplugged for a while then you cut on the TV. This when on for sometime until when it went out it didn’t come back in. Since it was over a year we called TCL and customer service was horrible. You had to jump through multiple hoops just to get them to tell you what you can do or what is the cause of it. The TV was fine and was hung up the same day it was bought so we knew we haven’t damaged it. At a cheap price we though the TV would at least last 5 years instead it barely lasted a year
