I needed a cheap tv that had either Roku or Fire TV. I bought this for a guest room so i don't use this tv at all. Was very easy to setup (my other tv's are all Samsung and have Apple TV's connected). Setting up each app on Roku was the only inconvenience. Once Roku was setup, it's simple to navigate and the remote is very easy to use as well. For a 50" 4K TV for under $300, it's a great bargain. It may not have the colors pop like my other Samsung tv's, but you get what you pay for. I liked that I didn't have to connect anything else to the TV, just plug the power cord in and it connected to my WiFi and it's worked flawlessly. No issues with streaming/buffering and the tv is located in the basement. If you're looking to get the best bang for your buck, this tv should be on your list.

Picture quality is excellent....easy to use for current Roku users..Simple set up...up and running in minutes. One issue...sound has dropped out (2 times since buying)...quickly fixed by reset button...similar behavior on some roku streaming sticks..Overall...very favorably impressed.

Great smartv feature . Great picture I love this TV. Love the controller. Sometimes it goes black ? Since we brought it home we have to unplug it for 3 min ans then its fine . Other than that it's great .ita happen 2 x since we got it .both times after using smart tv.

I am amazed at the picture quality and ease of use for this TV considering how little I paid for it. They are being used as video monitors in a workplace and they are fantastic. They could be a little brighter but still not bad.

Bought this for the leaving room while it was on sale and definitely recommend it for anyone looking to purchase their first 4K UHD Smart TV. 50" was the perfect size for our studio apartment. Doesn't take up too much space, but big enough to enjoy watching all types of content and gaming. I haven't experienced any issues at all when streaming. The picture quality is excellent for the price. My main gripes are the black levels in dark scenes and the TV speakers. The scenes are a little grey. I haven't messed around with the picture settings all that much so I'm sure there's a way to lessen the effect. The speakers aren't too much of an issue since I use a sound bar, but without it the sound quality is pretty low. Dialogue can be difficult to hear. Overall, the TV is excellent.

Bought this tv for our second home. We put it in our master bedroom and the picture quality is nice. My only complaint would be the tv remote. The tv remote doesn’t light up. You can’t see the buttons in the dark which is really annoying!

We use Roku and 3 streaming services for better viewing content. But we had always used a Roku remote. We love the tv that is Roku enabled. Picture quality is better than our previous tv and it cost very little more.

Honestly, I never wanted a smart tv, i have roku sticks, but this was cheaper than a dumb tv with fast delivery so I got it. I don't notice 4k from 1080 so didn't need that feature. Picture is good, sound is good, but I wish it would automatically sound down when music during a movie, or commercials get louder...don't know any that do that. It is a little irritating the antenna menu splits channels between favorites (most w as watched) and other channels, but you get used to it. I wish it had av hookups in case I wanted to hook up a DVD player or old xbox, but we have other tvs that do so not to upsetting.

I needed help picking a TV that would work for what I needed. This does exactly what I was needing. The quality is great and the price was very reasonable. Very pleased with this item.

After are old TV died we decided to go with a smart TV. This TV is lightweight and fit in our current TV cabinet which was a major plus. Picture and sound are great. Love that the remote has a button for DisneyPlus!!

Let’s be honest, this isn’t the TV you’d want for a home entertainment system or theatre set-up, but it’s an amazing television for the bedroom or the occasional TV watched. The picture is great quality and the Roku is amazing. Five Stars!

This TLC 50" is super easy to hook up and has an awesome picture. such a joy having the smart tv feature which makes running peripherals super easy too. Also it's easy on the wallet.

What can you expect on a budget? HDR when enabled makes the TV so dark it is impossible to tell what is going on and from time to time it freezes had one total reset just to get it to function again after a year plus of ownership. Those criticisms aside the TV is light weight and has built in Roku so it is a single wire hookup. If you don't care about a cinematic ex[erience and want to watch youtube and the news this is a great choice. If you want to think that you outsmarted everyone and got the best home theater for a fraction of what others shelled out for you are only convincing yourself.

I love this TV. Great price and has every feature I needed. Big fan of Vizio and Samsu ng (especially for picture quality), but that wasn't in my budget. This is my first experience with the TCL brand and I am happy.

I really like this tv. Good quality for the price. My only issue is I have to hold the remote up high and press the buttons sometimes for the sensor to catch it. I had a regular roku on my last tv and never had that issue. It’s nothing major, but is a slight inconvenience.

Picture is good. Remote is small and difficult to use without accidentally hitting wrong button. Power light is off when TV is on and on when TV is off. TV is in my bedroom and would prefer not having a light on when trying to sleep. Otherwise a good TV for the price.

Wanted an extra TV in my bedroom and the price and quality is great. Easy to setup. I cut the cord a couple of years ago and this TV with Roku provides everything I need. I actually bought, 1 for my office.

Wasn’t sure which TV to get. Took a chance on the TCL, so glad I did. Easy to use, good picture. Don’t need cable, just an internet connection. Enjoyed it so much, bought a second one, for another room.
