Never buy open-box online!

This was an open-box certified TV in "excellent" conditon, but the box only had the TV screen. So disappointed in this purchase. Never purchasing open-box items online again.

If you are using a newer console for gaming, you may want to change the HDMI input on the TV to 2.0 if you haven't already. To do this you would go to Home>Settings>TV inputs>Select the HDMI that your console is connected to>HDMI mode>2.0. Enjoy!

dull picture

You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. Additionally, you can access expert picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. TCL has problems

Our TVs are compatible with most Universal and cable remotes. Many Universal and cable box remotes can be programmed to control certain features on the TV. You can visit https://support.tclusa.com/tv-remote-codes for more information. This TV also has a physical power button located under the status light you can see on the front of the TV, right under the brand logo. Additionally, if you download the free Roku app on your phone you can use it to toggle power, toggle volume, use voice search, and private listening. Hope this helps!

It restarts suddenly while watching!

(Ex. The sound on 20 and you want to raise it to 25 you press the sound on the remote nothing shows up and then it shows 50). another issue is while watching the TV restarts without anyone touching the remote. Also, it restarts if you sometimes try to pause the program (On Disney, Netflix, Hulu ....).

A pain in the neck to get....

I was told it would take another week and a half to receive a replacement television. I got the replacement tv and it does work to my satisfaction.... I was not happy because I had to wait 3 weeks to get the tv i requested....

terrible audio sync problem

At first I thought that only the ext audio output had the issue but even watching local hdtv stations from the antenna and listening through the TV speakers you'll hear/see the lag. If you search online for the TCL model and soundbars issues, you'll see the red flags. TCL support will always claim they've never heard of the problem and have you do all kinds of things, but nothing will work. People say that the Roku software might be the issue but I'm not seeing any fixes.

This TV is pretty basic

You are better off buying a slightly more expensive TV. I took it back and got a hisense 55 inch for 400 bucks. I tried a firestick on it and it wouldn't switch to the firestick when I hit the home button on the firestick control. Unlike other tv's I've had or used.
