This TV is not that bad, but when viewing at an angle the color gets washed away and it is just not a good picture. My mom bought this TV to use in her living room and wanted to be able to watch stuff while she cooked in her kitchen. The angle just did not work while doing this because the picture really degraded quit a bit. Watching movies or TV shows like you are meant to do is good. The picture is clear and the colors are decent. The built in Roku functionality is also nice if you are familiar with Roku, but also easy to learn.

Bought this as a wedding present for my daughter and son-in-law. I used it at r the rehearsal dinner to show a video that I made for the couple. This tv had options for WiFi, HDMI, as well as a flash drive option to show the video. That is like an engineered dream to have all of those options available. The video went on without a hitch, and the picture quality was excellent! Today, I got a text from my daughter saying how much they are enjoying the TV’s many streaming options. Great job TCL!

Ive been skeptical of lesser brands such as this but the picture is great and the built in roku is perfect for streaming without extra hardware.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my Mom and she is very happy with it. Has an excellent picture, was super easy to install, set up.

Bought this for my parents and they love it. The Roku remote is simple enough and I'm that much closer to helping them cut the cord. Good buy.

Needed a tv for my new apartment. This TCL - 50 inch smart tv with Roku was a great value for less than $300 and I couldn't pass it up. Easy to set up and operate. Love it!!

Very happy with this TV. Has a good picture for video games, watching TV and movies. Easy to use and it's great that you can use the Roku app.

For the money it's incredible. Picture it pretty good. Response time for games is great. Occasionally it's a little laggy, but restarting fixes it every time. Blacks could be blacker. Not too sure how it is on respecting data privacy. The interface and remote are very easy to figure out and convenient to use. All and all for the price, it's very hard to beat this tv. Perfect entry level, user friendly general use television.

Neede a new tv with apps. The built in Roku works great...no issues and the picture is brilliant. Price for this tv was fantastic.

Good TV for the price. Solid picture. Programming is not the most smooth and the remote is not ideal. Good to know that your smartphone can be used to control though.

This was a great deal! I love having roku built in. Once my amazon fire doesn’t work, I will replace with roku. The volume button is on side of remote which gets pushed when grabbing remote.

tv is perfect size for a smaller apartment. picture quality is great and the price is right. TCL makes a very nice TV.

This TCL branded TV is a must buy beside it being 4K the price tag on it won’t hurt your pocket and it’s 50in u can not go wrong with this.

Don't be fooled by the reviews that give this tv a bad review based off of the experience and interaction with Bestbuy. I ordered this tv offline to pick up in store. The first one I received had a cracked screen so I returned it and got another one. Let me tell you that for the money I spent you won't get a better quality tv! The best tv for the money hands down! Please do yourself a favor and save some money on the high end brands and buy this tv. Trust me you won't be disappointed!

Best bang for the the best price! Love it and the picture was perfect. Had to watch Star Wars on the first night of use!

Better option than some of the slightly more expensive models from other manufacturers. Acceptable picture and the built-in Roku functionality is great. Another plus are the sound modes that, like picture modes, let you quickly adjust the audio. Especially useful is the mode that emphasizes voices. The speaker performance on many newer TVs makes it difficult to hear voices clearly without an external soundbar or similar. This makes it much easier to hear using the internal speakers.
