This TV wasw bought to replace a 32 in tv and enhance the 4k resolution for the 4k PS4

Great price, perfect size tv for the kitchen, works well so far!!!

I have more expensive TVs, but this one is better at a fraction of the price.

This is a case of getting what you paid for. I didn’t pay much for a 50 inch tv with Roku built and didn’t get much either. This is the worst TV I’ve even owned. That is even compared to the huge 13 inch tv I had with a dial I had to turn with my hand. We’ve had this almost 5 months and I hate this TV. I seriously debated returning it when we first got it but couldn’t figure out how to box it back up and get this big box back to the store. I really kick myself for not figuring out how to get it back to the store and returning it while I still could. Using the remote is a big struggle. If you are considering buying this TV, better start your arm exercises now. You will need them! Even with me sitting directly 5 feet back from the tv, with no barriers at all between myself and the tv, I have to lift the remote up in the air and extend my arm as far as possible in the direction of the tv, pointing the remote directly at the TV where the signal is received every time I use the horrific Roku remote. Every other tv we’ve owned would allow you to use the remote with your hand rested in your lap, sitting the same distance away, or even use the remote with out having to point it directly at the part of the tv that receives the signal from the remote. This is especially annoying as the volume on the tv spontaneously gets louder and softer while watching a show, and I don’t just mean commercials that get louder. It’s random with all kinds of programs on all types of tv from live cable tv to prerecorded shows on popular apps to live tv on popular apps. To top it off, the volume buttons are on the side of the remote. So now I’m struggling to hit the volume button on the side, while my arm is outstretched and extended in the air, making sure it’s pointed at the exact spot necessary to lower the volume as fast as possible before the surprise burst of sound wakes up my kids. Forget about changing the channel quickly when your kids walk in just as someone unexpectedly curses on the show you are watching. Might as well just save yourself the trouble of fumbling with the remote while your arm is dangling mid-air again and just teach them the curse words yourself or just watch kids show forever. We have 2 smaller sized TCL tv’s in 2 bedrooms. Those 2 tv’s do not have any system like Roku built in to it and we use Fire Sticks and the Fire Stick remote that we bought separately. We have no problems at all with those TCL tv’s. Never have. They are excellent TV’s. It’s just this one with the Roku built in that is the big stinker. I would recommend TCL tv’s but only buy the ones with no system built in. Definitely avoid this model with Roku built in unless you are buying it for your least favorite family member and hope they dislike their tv watching experience as much as I do. I am very surprised to see so many positive reviews.

It's a good tv but I do have some quirks with it. Like it's a small white light that continues to flash at the bottom of the tv, the remote is a role remote and is not comfortable to have in your hand for too long, there is not a power/ volume button on the tv itself, and it's not really compatible with my sound bar. All in all, its decent for the price but it's a basic led tv.
