The TCL 4 series and TCL line in general is a sleeper brand. A lot of people may tend to go with trendier or more name brand televisions but the TCL is a major contender. I bought this TV as a gift for a family member and was impressed at how well the TV looked compared to other name brand TVs for considerably more money.

Easy to use built in Roku interface allows streaming content wirelessly so only plugging power cable in required to get started if adding to existing home WiFi network. Remote could be better designed, volume buttons on side easily pressed by mistake if you have large hands.

Easy to set up, light weight and great picture quality

Picture quality is good, price is great. Yes you can buy much better TV’s and be amazed at the depth of color and black tones but you’ll also spend well more than $1K for it. But unless it’s side by side with this TV, the average watcher or gamer would see the difference.

This my second TLC Roku TV. With the combination of a sharp Big Screen 4K TV, Built in Roku along with a reasonable price; this was the perfect combination. If I am going to replace any of my TV's it will be with TLC Roku.

I've been a roku fan for years. This TV was larger than I had expected to get for the money. I agonized on the site for hours comparing TVs, and this one won. I could have gone with a latest/greatest at a much higher cost but this does have 4k, does everything I need and looks great even viewing from an angle.

This is a good TV if you’re on a budget. It’s an easy set up and only has 4 screws to screw into for the feet. The picture is solid and the roku TV integration is very nice and smooth. It’s a nice entry level 4K TV for like a bedroom but I don’t think I would use this in a living room. Will probably exchange this for the TCL 5 or 6 series. If I needed a new TV in my bedroom I would definitely be keeping and recommend.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with the price of this TV being what it is, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised every step of the way. The setup was easy, the operation is responsive and intuitive, and the picture is great. Having a 3.5 jack on the back adds a nice level of potential functionality as well.

Value for money! Easy to navigate and great quality

This is a solid 4K TV with built-in Roku...'nuff said! It is easy to set up and I love the super-simple remote. I've had a great experience with two other identically-featured TCL TVs (a 20" and a 32") and this 50-inch version appears to be just as good so far after 30 days. Two thumbs-up for function and value.

Our TV went out about a week into the Big Rona quarantine. Thank goodness Best Buy was doing curbside pickups and we were able to replace the old TV. This one is perfect, easy to use, good quality. It helped save a little bit of our sanity, as long as we don't use it to watch the news.

The included Roku TV remote is a standard, infrared-only model. It's a small black plastic wand with curved ends and a prominent purple direction pad. The pad is flanked by Home, Back, and Power buttons above and playback controls below. Four dedicated service buttons for DirecTV Now, Hulu, Netflix, and Sling TV sit below the playback buttons. A volume rocker and Mute button are on the right edge. Because it isn't a microphone-equipped Enhanced Roku TV remote, you need to point it directly at your TV to use it, and you can't speak into it to use Roku's voice search features. The Roku app for Android and iOS lets you use voice search if you wish, though Roku's voice functions are still limited compared with Alexa on Amazon Fire TV devices, Google Assistant on Android TV devices, and Siri on the Apple TV. A recent Roku skill adds Alexa-based voice control functionality to your TV if you have an Amazon Echo or other Alexa-equipped device, but this isn't a voice control feature on the TV itself

Tv is fast, menu is simple to use, screen is clear and crisp. Bought for my kids to use to watch shows and play their Wii and Switch. Sound is pretty good for a TV. I’m a snob and only buy Samsung usually but this TV impressed me. Great value for the dollar.

Solid tv use to play my Xbox ps3 and PS4. The tv been amazing no lag what so ever. Wish it had more setting to custom the picture setting but for the price I cannot complain paid 340 for a 50 inch with 2 year warranty. Have really enjoyed it so far and kids love how easy it is to use. Tcl has really impressed me didn’t think I would like it I’ve always owned Samsung, Sony and lg

I needed a TV I could put on the patio that I didn't need to install a new cable drop for but could access my existing xfinity service from Comcast. Roku TV has a xfinity app that works great and the TCL brand has an excellent picture. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Great TV at a budget price point. I have owned the TV for almost two years now and haven't had any issues. The picture quality and sound are excellent and the Roku remote is very user-friendly. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a budget 4K TV, then look no further. This isn't the best TCL in their lineup, but it's a great buy for the price. The Roku interface is like a $60 value in itself. It's easy to set up and easy to operate and the picture is good enough for people who don't need the best.

I was kind of sceptical to buy a different brand than Samsung, but for the price i pay for this tv i have no regrets at all, it has an excellent images, the roku platform is so friendly and ready to watch.... I like it a lot
