I bought this TV because my TV finally stopped working. The picture is great when using cable. When using the built in apps, the tv began having a line of frozen pixels on the top. When I exited the app, the line would go away. This happened in both Netflix and Hulu. I checked forums online and others experienced the same. Some stated they factory reset the TV and the issue went away for a while but came back. I decided I wasn't going through the hassle after only owning the TV a couple days. Returned the TV and bought from a different manufacturer.

We were looking for a TV on a budget. This TV has everything we were looking for. It was a great find. The picture can be a little bit dark but not enough to make a real difference. That’s probably a personal preference thing too.

The tv is nice, but freezes up at times and makes a high ptch squel sometimes randomly. Been working with support but still no fix.

The wide color gamut with the Dolby Vision gives the picture a wow effect.With the 120hz motion makes the action scenes smooth and same with sports.This 5 series TCL was released in August 2019. I bought this for $300 on sale and it is awesome.

The screen is crystal-sharp, the control is simple & clean. and Roku gives new (to us) options & experiences, Even our old friend 'Pandora' is available, and easier than ever to use.

I bought this because the specs listed a native refresh rate of 120hz. The native refresh rate is only 60hz and the support on the TCL sites explains how it uses enhancements to achieve 120hz. The specs on this site need to be changed, but other than that it’s a great TV for the price.

I love this tv the Roku interface is really good app store has good selection in fact there's some apps I can't find on Google tv like adult swim channel also there's private channels you can add that aren't on the Roku store

Have had for about a month and am happy so far. We had one issue with everything turning grayscale on us, but all good now. The Roku TV is not very good with buffering all the time. Would recommend this TV though.

I love my TCL TV, but there is one issue. I can’t easily switch between the built-in Roku functionality and my 4K Apple TV device. It forces me to choose one over the other. I chose Roku, but I wish I didn’t have to.

Love TCL Roku TV’s! This is my 3rd for the bedroom. Already own a 65” and 55” Series 6 TCL Roku TV’s. This Roku interface is perfect for all my streaming needs. Have not had cable tv for over 2 1/2 years. Love, Love, Love!!!

This TV is excellent and for the price it's a great value for a 4K tv. My only gripe is viewing the TV anywhere but straight on has a washed out look. But otherwise I would definitely recommend this tv!

Outstanding build quality, attractive design and that superb Roku interface. This set is good as others I recently bought costing twice as much. I am switching to all TCL TVs as my others need replacement.

Great tv for the price, there is a black smudge on my screen from where paint rubbed off in the manufacturing process. It's very hard to notice

Bought it on 2019 Thanksgiving. Good performance so far. I'm using my Xbox one x with it. Smoother gaming performance than other TVs near this price I have used.

We have been so happy with this tv purchase. It's a great size for our apartment and was so, so simple to set up and start watching. The Roku interface is really intuitive. Unbelievable value.

Really like it, there are only a few times when there seems to be some odd lag or crashing but I think that is more our wifi related than product related.

Good value tv. The only issue I take with it is the unnecessary ads that take up the tv space. I don't like having to see ads while on the homepage of my own purchased tv.

I think that all TV should have live streaming capabilities and some cable channels like this one did best buy has great costomerservice and door side curb service thank you best buy

These sets have all your favorite channels and links to networks already installed or access. I now own four TCL sets for home and office monitor use. Excellent value for the money.

Replacement for a 4 1/2 year old 50 inch Samsung tv which konked out. Like that this company makes all the parts itself. Installed 7/26/20 so we shall see how long it lasts.
