Great bedroom tv

I’m using it as my bedroom tv and it’s perfect. Turn off all the image processing and it really does have a decent picture. Sound quality is on par with any of these very thin flat screens. If you are using it for your main tv a sound bar would be a must.

Great TV, Bad Guide on Google Version

Thus, I returned it & bought the ROKU version on which the guide works great. I do like that Google TV offers separate login, so my daughter would only have access to apps I setup for her. The picture was great & TCL customer support is very helpful.

A really good second TV.

For a main living-room TV I would suggest saving your money and getting a true high-end set with better wide-angle viewing, but for playrooms and bedrooms it is perfect. Keep your eye out for sales, I got my 50" for $360.

Do not buy

The color is very difficult to tune so that it actually looks good, and it will reset itself to look horrible again after a few weeks. I went in to get a Samsung and was talked into this piece of junk by the salesperson, who was probably told to help get rid of these pieces of garbage.

OK for the money

Often faces shine like they are from another world. I've tried to fix it but can't figure it out. It does not happen all the time which is also frustrating. The remote leaves much to be desired also. Fast forward etc is really bad on the Sling app.
