Not my favorite quality

Very slow tv

Worth it!

Great product, but we have some issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This TV is a very good TV for sure. The picture is incredible. This unit replaced a very old LCD TV and we were actually jarred by how much better the resolution is. The images are so much more vivid than from what we had before. The smart features (Google) work very well, and I have no issue with them. The only downside is getting it to work correctly with our receiver. We have a Panasonic receiver and the receiver connects to the TV via HDMI1. There are no other connections to the TV, all of the devices go to the Receiver. When the TV turns on, it automatically goes to the TV's home screen. Our preference would be for it to automatically go to HDMI1 which is the way we have it set 99% of the time. So far I have not figured out how to do this. I have to switch it to HDMI1 every time we turn it on. We use a Harmony remote and getting it set up with the new TV worked ok, but it was almost impossible to program buttons to change it to HDMI1. I was able to program one button to bring up the menu and one to select HDMI1, but that is very clunky. And then to top it off, when you choose HDMI1, it switches to the receiver, but the receiver will switch to our BlueRay player, not our FiOS box. Then we have to manually choose the FiOS box which we do. But then it will switch back to BlueRay and I have to do it all over. This happens twice and then the receiver will stay in FiOS. Since I do not believe in coincidence, I am sure it is the introduction of the TV that caused all of this to happen. I will continue to look for solutions, but it is not easy. All in all, I would recommend the TV if you do not have an external receiver, but if you do have a receiver, do some research as to how well it will all work together.

Great Tv , Great customer service!

The TCL/Google home screen requires a slight learning curve for us older folk, but im satisfied with the TV. Best Buy customer service was top notch. Staff was friendly and helpful. A+++ , will shop there again

Poor performance after 1 year

The lag and intermittent issues with turning on just keep increasing. Customer support has not been of any help either. After about the 6th hard restart I just gave up and let it do its thing… picture quality is great, sound pretty good. All let down though due to poor performance. If they made this tv as a non-smart tv, I would love it, but not the case here.

Best Value TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.10/10(with a separate audio set up) Always check RTings before buying a TV, but this one is easily the best for the money. As with any modern TV you want a decent audio set up, I went with Edifier Speakers instead of a sound bar as I have the room for it. In case you were wonder, it is easily worth it over the Class 4, but the Class 6 probably isn't worth the extra jump. Would just go 4k 120hz at that point as I do PC gaming

I contacted TCL customer service because it’s within the year warranty. I after some troubleshooting, TCL sent me a refurbished replacement. The replacement tv intermittently connects and disconnects to wifi since the first use. After calling customer service again 3 times and literally spending hours troubleshooting, they determined they cannot advance my issue to their warranty department to replace the SECOND defective tv from them unless I buy a landline cable or pay for a hotspot to test if it’s a network issue or their replacement tv, mind you i have several other working devices in my home with no issues. They even had me call my internet provider to ensure there wasn’t a block of the device. I’m just out of a working tv, money, and time at this point. Save yourself the trouble and purchase another brand. 2/3 tvs I’ve owned from this brand were defective.
