The price I paid for this: $429 = worth it. The price I see if for today: $599 = not worth it. Overall I like this TV, and it’s a huge upgrade from the bad Vizio M Series we had. But it’s not worth $600 for a 50 inch. This is a budget TV and anything over $450 is too much.

The tv is great , the picture quality is great for the price , the speakers on the tv are good on their own specially if you putting it in a room it even better . The only down side is I had to return it for same one because one I got seemed damaged but other than that tv is phenomenal.

You can't get a TV that performs better than the TCL 50S535 at this price point ($ 399.99). Excellent contrast, vivid colors, good upscaling and to complete it has the Roku operating system. I totally recommend it to anyone who wants a good quality TV at a great price.

We *LOVE* this new purchase and have found it to be easy to use and has so many incredible features. It is intuitive and having a new Smart TV has really enhanced our lives, especially as we have been spending so much more time at home. I have even downloaded my Peloton app and turned the family room into my workout space as well.

Love the ROKU on the TV and it figured out all the connections I connected to the TV with very little help. I greatly miss the wireless service that my previous TV had so no more cast to TV from my phone. And I Hate the remote as the volume rockers are in a bad orientation. My ROKU Stick has a much better one but I moved that to my bedroom TV

We really love this TV! Love that it is ROKU ready as we using streaming TV service and it works great! This is our 2nd TCL TV. We ordered online and did curbside pickup. It was very smooth and very convenient! Very safe way to buy a TV during a pandemic.

I've had this TV for over three weeks now, and I couldn't be happier. Everything about this TV is awesome, from the picture clarity to the sound. Best 4K TV on the market for the price.

I bought it as a gift, when my son got his first apartment. He’s enjoying it a great deal. Excellent picture quality. I rate all TV built in sound as ‘average’ because I’ve never been happy unless I’ve had sound routed through an audio system, or at least a soundbar.

After tweaking,great sharp bright picture. Two complaints. No direct access to channels. Picture quality suffers if viewed from side.But still,impressed with picture quality.And can't beat price!

We bought this to replace a TCL series 4 TV. The picture on this one is tremendously better. Very sharp and clear! The only negative is that every once in a while the picture goes blank or freezes. This happens on both streaming and over-the-air channels.

Great TV. I bought it for the Roku and as a little step up from the base models. Knocked a point off because it does have a little "dirty screen" effect (don't go looking for it or you can't stop seeing it). If you want tips on setting it up, see AVSFORUM.COM ... and Roku means it's not part of the "back-door" issue that came out recently.

Great TV! I’ve had for a few weeks now and by far the best picture I’ve ever watched. It was a big upgrade from my 10 year old TV. Was kind of iffy at first because of some of the pixel issues others were having, but mine works fine. Would buy it again.

This TV has an amazing picture compared to the Vizio I had prior to it. I bought this TV to replace that one and it is a difference of night and day. Just goes to show you don’t have to spend a fortune on a TV to get a good quality product.

Love the TV, perfect fit for the new house. No need for an external ROKU box that I have been using for 10 years. Also I ordered this online and was ready quickly. When I arrived I was immediately assisted and out of there within 15 minutes and that included browsing the new phones.

This is my second TCL television - I made this purchase primarily because of my experience with my first TCL. However, this is my first QLED. I must say... the picture quality is impressive! I'm also a fan of the Roku integration!

This TV has been amazing despite what I've heard of TCL brand TV's. I opted for this instead of a crappier picture on an LG or Samsung so I decided on this and I am glad I did. I've owned it almost 2 years now with zero issues.

Haven't had it very long, but so far is meeting my expectations. The color is great and the audio is, as well. I love the fact that I don't have to have a separate device for my cable TV, Roku, or my Apple TV. Everything is in one package and that is great for a small TV room.

We absolutely love the picture quality. The only trouble we had was setting it up as it wouldn't go through any of the update/connect sequences. We found a video online of resetting some settings and started over and it worked.
