Picked this up over the weekend. The Price was great. The Class 5 picture is a huge upgrade to the 48" Class 3 we had. The response of the Integrated Roku is sluggush and setup took over an hour to update and load the 100+ roku channels we have on all the other devices. I tried several of the options to speed up the roku including reseting the device to factory defaults after the latest updates were on the tv. Its still slow. Screen hangs when Deleting channels forcing a need to pull the plug on the tv. Probably be returning if this can not be resolved

This TV has lived up to all the advertisements. We are very pleased with the picture quality and most other features. Only thing I haven’t figured out yet is how to incorporate my Bose theater system speakers full time into the TCL system

Picture perfect, great color and user friendly. Bought as 2nd tv because of Apps as well as able to use with my xfinity cable service. This Television has so many different streaming apps never heard of and its Roku free Tv services is great.

This TV is an extremely good value for the money. I really like that Roku is built into the TV, and the sound quality is pretty decent from the TV speakers. 4K Picture quality is really good as well. For the money, I think this TV is hard to beat.

Went into Best Buy to get a Samsung model and ended with this TCL and could not be happier. Great picture and quality and an added bonus being a Roku Smart TV. Able to hook up our sound bar and all other devices with ease.

I had an issue with connecting a Visio sound bar, but TCL tech provided step by step instructions to make it work. Another benefit is that I no longer need multiple remotes to control my TV, Roku Stick, and sound bar.

Hey...TV is GREAT...and had no idea it came with a plethora of content of its own. But, the service that led to the purchase was the "journey" that made the Destination (a new TV). Our other TV failed, we brought it back after 4 years and received a FULL CREDIT!! Whaa?? We had bought the 5 yr extended and , without hesitation, the Geek Squad supervisor gave us the credit and we were well on our way to have the ability to purchase this monster TV with a gazillion free streaming channels!! Burbank Best Buy is a CUT above, even that of other Best Buys closer to my home. Thanks a million

This is my first time purchasing a 4K TV, and I'm happy with my purchase. After many extensive reviews of many brands, prices, I went with this new model of the 5 series (2020). Although there weren't many reviews on this, considering it's new, I took my chances on it and I'm loving it so far after a day of use. I'll have to look online for calibrating the TV to where it should be in terms of the righr colors.

There is little i would change about this TV. The resolution and black levels are GOOD; although the reds come across very hot in the default config, the color rep can be easily adjusted. That’s really the only complaint so far.

We were limited to a 50" tv to fit in our cabinet. This tv is amazing! I cannot speak to the Audio because we are hooked to a sound system, but the picture is ridiculous! Hockey! Golf! NFL! All comes to life - so clear - so colorful - no dark spots! Perfect for our needs.

This tv is awesome especially paired up with the Alto R1 SoundBar picture and sound is amazing. Works great with all my gaming consoles even the classics. User interface is very easy to use unlike most tvs.

Great TV for gaming! I love this picture!!!!! The video mode truly takes gaming to another level that most TV'S can't provide. Some can, but most can't. For the money, it's hard to beat TCL today.

Purchased this as a replacement for the bedroom. We wanted another roku tv and this TCL does not disappoint. Love the picture and the roku features we have come to love with our other sets. We found nothing wrong with the picture quality and are quite happy.

Very satisfied with purchase of TCL 50” television. 4K UHD colors very vibrant picture very clear makes you feel like you are there. Brings out the best in special effects in movies. Would highly recommend this item. Price was very good for quality of product.

Great tv! Replaced a much more expensive SONY tv and immediately recognized a much crisper picture...and you can’t beat the Roku app system...very pleased!

This TCL - 50" Class 5 Series QLED 4k UHD Smart Roku TV is much better and thinner than the class 4 TCL (I have the Class 4 also). The picture quality is much better and this TV is thinner than the Class 4, making it more ideal to hang on a wall.

Great picture. You can really tell the difference between QLED and a regular led. Great upgrade from the 4 series. My only complaint is the sound, action scenes are louder than the audio from the people talking.

I chose this because I wanted a 50" TV for a smaller room, and I was hoping the brightness concerns were overblown. They're not, this TV doesn't get very bright at all. There was also a subtle flicker in white areas of the screen, possibly a consequence of cranking the brightness as high as it would go. HDR content also looks washed out due to lack of brightness. The panel is a significant downgrade in quality compared to my 2018 TCL 6 series. Maybe I got a lemon, but this is going back.

Overall decent product for the price. A plus is the Roku operating system built into the TV eliminating the need for add-on equipment. Since I've only had it for 6 weeks I can't attest to its longevity which has been a problem for some other people per online reviews.

Excellent packing, keeping the TV secure. Directions are super clear, setup was easy, and the picture is spectacular. I especially like the Roku XFinity app so I can scan all available channels without needing an extra box from the cable provider.
