If you're used to a bright TV... look elsewhere. My last TV was a non-4k LG and it had amazing bright colors. This TV has the colors, but it does not get bright enough for me. My bed room has a lot of sunlight, so I need a TV that can compete with the level of brightness in my room. I found myself constantly wishing for a brighter picture, so eventually I let my sister have this TV and I ended up purchasing another more expensive brand and im thoroughly pleased now. This TV does HDR content well and the Roku system is extremely user friendly. Most people would find this TV sufficient for their needs. I just needed a brighter picture due to my environment. Its an awesome TV for the price though.

Excellent TV. No extra equipment to buy. Apps are in the tv for fast selection. ROKU app works on cell as a remote control. Great price for all it does with a beautiful picture and sound to boot.

One month later and I’m happy with the purchase. Great price for a solid TV. I have a PS5 hooked up to this tv in my gameroom and the picture is pretty! The Roku interface works well.

Great TV. I am using this as a patio tv. Plenty bright. Great clarity. I was a little worried before buying this tv if it would be as good as I hoped. It is better than I expected. A lot better. If you are on the fence, get it. You won’t be disappointed.

Great value at time of purchase. Good quality picture, Built in speakers are more than adequate for casual use. Possible downside for some would be its limited display settings.

This TV is a great bargain. The price is right for the value received. I highly recommend this TV. The Roku Operating System is the most user-friendly system I've used. You will love it.

that day i want to buy another Samsung tv, when i go best buy and saw the asian gentleman and i ask him what good the tv right now he said you can try new TCL they have new stuff,

Our main floor TV was on the blink. This replaced it and works great. Picture quality as good as any. Unless you are extremely picky and ready to pay a big price, this QLED is fine for the price.

Upgraded from a 10 yr old plasma HD and its amazing how much better the new picture is. We've had it setup for about a week and it is better than expected. I would totally recommend.

Love the tv. Only part i dont like is with the remote. Have to go thru the guide to change channels. Wish it had the numbers on the remote Would be much easier

No wonder actors are nervous about 4K tv. The image is bright and sharp! It took a little time to get used to just how vivid this tv is. Sports and movies are amazing!

Purchased to replace a TCL S403. Picture is much better and the Roku OS works great on this model just like the previous model.

Great TV. The picture is AMAZING. And the colors are so sharp. I love the Roku extras. It was easy to buy and we did curbside pickup, which was fast and efficient.

Clean, crisp picture, but requires alot of tweaking out of the box. Roku functionality is excellent. One of the few TVs w/local dimming at this price. I prefer the (more expensive) Sony.

Great colors and depth! My wife has trouble getting used to the picture not looking fake like many previous units we have purchased. This is our fourth TCL purchase, and are obviously impressed with the brand.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. The TCL 5 series is a great package at a great price. Set up was easy. The 50" is a vast improvement over my ten year-old 40".

We bought this to compare to the Samsung Q60A. The 5 Series by TCL is highly rated and this 50 inch model was the same price (open box) as the 43 inch Q60A (also open box.) Reality is, I just could not get the same quality of picture/display from the TCL. The colors were simply not as vibrant and the contrast not as sharp. Also, I couldn't get past the Roku TV interface colors, although apparently there is a way to change the theme colors. At any rate, we kept the Q60A and returned the TCL.

Works great. I miss having a set-specific remote, rather than just the TCL/Roku remote. Makes getting to a specific OTA channel cumbersome.

TV is good straight on -it's an amazing picture straight on. From the side it is a weird side picture unless I having setting that are off. Other than that, great pic for a good price

Such an amazing tv for the money. Maybe because I don’t know what I’m missing going with the series 5 instead of the 6. But it’s less than half the cost of the smaller vizio I bought in 2012. So far I’m very impressed.
