Bad, narrow viewing angle.

Roku interface as implemented by this TCL TV was unusable. Very narrow viewing area: just looking from one side of chair to other, you could see the colors washing out.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. There are options available to adjust the settings to better fit your personal preference. You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. Additionally, you can access expert picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. The Roku mobile app works as a remote and allows you to access additional features like voice search, private listening, expert picture settings, and more. Hope this helps & happy viewing!

For one example: 1) Can’t get our Bluetooth Soundbar to receive a signal. We were on phone with a Dish Tech for a good long while, trying to get it working. It worked well with our other television ‼️ It’s a big pretty picture. We are really blessed to have it.

Every time you turn on TV you have to choose input which is annoying because I mostly use my cable box and cable remote.

The staff is amazing & very, very, helpful. They go above & beyond for the elderly, thank you.

Other than that, I love this tv.

Had a problem with the first one as it was damaged when we took it out the box and plugged it in. I took it back the the exchange was easy and smooth. No issues with the replacement.

The staff was helpful when I had to take it to store and check it out for me. The box had several holes in it and I was concerned it was damaged. But it wasn’t.

Very Good - TCL TV & 85" Sony TV

Best Buy installation of my 85" Sony TV by Magnolia or the Geek Squad was excellent (Gino). I always purchase at Best Buy and will continue to do so.

Great bargain for the size

However purchased as store pickup same day guess their inventory was not correct had to wait till it got delivered. That of course was not the plan.

I still feel like I could have got a bigger tv with same quality for about the same price. But I don’t regret buying it.

I mainly watch movies in the night where the experience has been satisfactory. I have noticed slight shimmers when there is a fast paced scene and you can notice blurs around the subject at times

Lemon, do not buy

I noticed the right top corner had pixels that were a bit smudged along the edge. 1 hour later there was a 6 inch line of dead pixels. By 6 hours, the line of dead pixels was 16 inches long. Since it seemed like a keeper after setting up, I put the trash out for garbage day. I called Best Buy later once the problem started and the best they can do is send me a label, but hello...the box has been picked up by garbage collector. I can’t carry a 50” tv up to the store in manhattan on the bus or subway during a pandemic. I don’t understand what they want me to do with this 500$ Lemon (after tax and warranty).
