We were looking for a TV to add to our spare/family room. We have an OLED in the living room but couldn't afford the price for a second room. This TV is great is has great picture quality and it is super easy to use. Very intuitive and super easy to mount and setup. Overall I give it 5 stars, I don't know how it will last; however at the price it is great.

The TCL Roku TVs are great. They are the best bang for the buck!

What can I say, I've bought 3 t-shirts all in a 6 week period and a wide spectrum of price. Other then the obvious picture quality of the higher end tvs I bought, for the price this Tlc works and looks very good. Very easy to set up and program. Well worth u taking a chance on if skeptical, you won't be sorry you did :)

Great TV. Picture is clear and vivid. My parents love the new TV.

With it being Roku, the set up was easy. For anyone who's not used Roku, have no fear it'll take no time. As far as picture goes, so far it's been great. Hooked this up to a soundbar and the quality of my home entertainment has gone way up.

Nice picture, really for the price it’s great. However the remote is very specific, which is not convenient. You MUST be directly center in front of the TV or it’s a no go. Otherwise it’s a nice TV, so far.

Pretty good picture for a great price! If you're like me and not concerned about gaming or watching tv at a ludicrous viewing angle and just want an everyday tv lounge and watch Netflix on the, this is a no brainer

Our TCL Roku TV was easy for even us elderly, non techies to set up. Consumer Reports gave a recommendation. Make sure you buy Best Buy's warranty! Otherwise, you deal only through the manufacturer. Our remote malfunctioned in the first month!

Great image. Not as many options to fully customize the display settings, but a very crisp image, super dark blacks, and local dimming make this a great purchase. Sound is average - as with most thin TVs, you’ll want to add a sound bar.

I got the TV and everything is good except for the fact that the blinking light at the bottom is annoying if you cannot get a internet signal. Roku is easy to use and installation was very simple.

Great TV! Easy to assemble, very light, and sturdy. Picture is very crisp and clear. Settings on TV the brightness is adjustable for rooms with alot of light. Roku worked seemlessly with my existing account. Fantastic deal bought on black Friday. Good Buy!

I love this TCL - TV. The picture is crystal clear, the sound excellent and the price was unbelievably inexpensive. I am thrilled with it. My 70 in TV broke after 9+ years and I thought I would buy a smaller one and for me, it's a perfect size. Great.

I had do Geek Squad deliver and set up. Tech was fantastic. Picture is excellent and Roku is so easy to navigate. No need for sound bar.I read many reviews prior to purchasing this TCL 50S535. Would buy another TCL.

Good value for the money, size is what I could fit in furniture. Like the built in Roku and have been able to remove Fire TV, Apple TV since functions built in. Picture quality is decent, Roku is responsive. Happy with my purchase

Pros: Great value for fantastic picture! Honestly feels like a $1000 TV that you see in stores but costs way less. The Roku software is awesome. Cons: Wish it came with the heftier enhanced remote - but this is a super minor detail.

Cons: Roku app is kinda laggy and makes you reconnect everytime you turn on the TV if its on wifi. A lot of glare if the sun is shining into the room kinda hard to see. Pros: everything else looks amazing, runs smoothly, good speakers. Would buy again

This TV is definitely a great value, and when we found it on sale, it was a no brainer. This is now our 4th TCL TV, and we've always been happy with the reliability, color quality, and the built in Roku app. The only complaint I had was that this model no longer allows you (technically) to turn the feet of the unit inward for areas where you may no be able to support a 50" TV(like the top of our bedroom dresser). The feet are literally at the edges of the screen below, so I had no choice but to put them on backwards. They did screw in, and it's solid, but there was no mention of it in the manual. Other than that, it's running as expected, and it is a massive improvement in color and sound from my previous Spectre 4k.

Really like this TV, Looked around beforehand so I would know what I was doing! Knew it would be between 50" or 55"! Already have 2 TCL 5 Series TVs! Enjoy them tremendously! The 5 Series has amazing colors and is easy to hook right up out of box! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine!

Great picture quality and the Roku interface really makes it an easy to use TV. Also added an antenna and local channels look just fine. The only issue I have is that at times when I turn on the TV it takes almost a minute before the TV connects to the internet and allowing me to use the apps.

Great picture. Not super noticeable hdr but not surprising with tv in this price range. Roku interface solid and fast. It’s not the 6 series but it’s close. I only returned because I was sucked into the hype of 4K 120hz for new video game consoles and the oled Black Friday sales.
