Stunning picture for the price. My mother's 50" BB house brand TV was going south and needed to be replaced. Grabbed this ahead of black Friday. I was blown away by the picture for such a low priced unit. Some truly amazing value here.

Purchased for my mom. She is happy with it. Roku system easy to navigate. Screen picture good, very narrow viewing angle. Thats ok because it's just her watching. It takes a long time to set up Roku. Overall happy with purchase.

I own 3 TCL tvs 8 series, 4 series and now this 5 series,nice tv for price . Great picture and color,good with motion. Picture wash out with side viewing,that is why 4 star. Other reviews from tech world solid.

Hard to imagine a better tv at this price. Easy setup. Great picture. Roku platform is extremely convenient and easy to navigate. The google option might be better for some but for my needs I went with the Roku. Extremely happy

For the price you can’t beat it! Was a little disappointed the refresh rate was only 60hz being a Qled. The blacks are GREAT! This tv could be a little brighter. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.

Excellent quality television for a reasonable price. Has all the bells and whistles and connected seamlessly to my Alexa for complete functionality. Vibrant colors and a truly great picture.

Great tv for the price. My third tcl tv. I wish they had a series 6 in the 50” model. It. Seems like they are phasing out the roku models, they are the only ones I will buy.

I knew this TV wouldn’t be the perfect 4K experience based on the price alone. But I am nothing but impressed by the overall quality for the money. Fantastic picture, easy setup and great expandability with the 4 hdmi ports. So far, so good!

I’m very pleased with this TV. At 50”, I was considering the Vizio M8, the Sony X800H and the Samsung Q60T. I believe this TV outperforms all of them save for the Vizio M8 which is impossible to find. The color is great, good brightness for HDR and the Roku TV seems pretty good. I only have two complaints: 1) I can’t get ARC to work with my Vizio soundbar and 2) There is a noticeable picture lag. I think this is a soundbar issue—there’s no lag with a direct input. Anyways, you won’t be disappointed spending $400 on this TV. I highly recommend it in the budget 50” category.

This set was purchased to replace a Sharp 50" 1080p TV. No slouch in its own right but 4K with HDR is a different and more impressive beast. Our home also has a 75" TCL Series 6 Roku TV as the main family viewing panel and it is also impressive which provided a safe consideration when buying the 50". Unfortunately, the Geek Squad no longer offers ISF TV calibration which did wonders on the 75" but we now can't consider for the 50". However, the out of the box picture was pretty incredible anyway. Lastly, we just LOVE the Roku operating system. This TV makes our 10th active Roku device.

My previous television broke down so I purchased this for myself. GREAT PICTURE! Easy to hang on wall and set up for streaming, The price was great. I would highly recommend this tv!

This seems like a great tv. The only knocks are the packaging done by TCL. The tape that’s usually around the bezel of the screen was also on the actual screen itself and quite sticky and bordering on what you would call packaging tape. Hopefully nothing came loose with the screen when pulling it off. Will keep an eye out for defects for the next couple of days I guess. The very corners of the screen are also slightly darker and you will see some slight color variations on a completely gray picture but you’ll hardly see this when watching real content. It’s a little noticeable on hockey since the ice is so bright.

Great TV. Setup was easy, and was able to use the TCL app to fine tune the settings. My first 4K tv, and I now understand what the fuss is about. Great value for the price.

Great picture and love the ROKU operating system. Easy for the elderly to navigate. Would have been an excellent rating but the view form the side is a little "washed" out.

Pleasantly surprised by the sharp picture and ease of use for our first smart TV. Works very well for outdoor use on our covered deck. Definitely worth the money.

This set has a amazingly sharp picture. It is user friendly and was no problem setting up to my wifi. My money was well spent on this purchase.

straight out of the box I loved the picture on this TV. It blew away my 3 year LG 4K TV I replaced it with. Setting up the Roku apps was a breeze. Very easy to use system. For the money I am very happy with this TCL TV
