Good bedroom TV

The picture is really good and I haven't had any issues with it. I got a really good deal on an open box, and added a couple years geek squad coverage to be on the safe side.

Fantastic value

I've owned a number of their televisions. Their older 36 and 43 series 3 tvs have been a favorite for a long time. The interface is probably one the most intuitive and easiest to use of any front end. The tvs ability to find and hold your home network is easy and seamless and has never been a problem. Now they come out with this 50" with a WAY better and bigger picture for just a tiny bit more money. I think this TV might be the best overall value of any TV., in terms of price and quality/reliability for the money.

Fantastic tv for the price, got it for about $250 new. 4k is a massive step up from the old Zenith if you can believe that. With gaming mode and the proper cable, there is no noticeable input delay at all, perfect for games like rocket league and shooters where responsiveness is essential. Pretty crazy how affordable home theater has gotten

Overall good budget TV

To make it better you need to tweak a few settings: For a better picture I either have it on movie mode or vivid HDR both with motion slowing turned off. Out of the box it comes with low power mode which makes the picture look washed out. Google TV is a bit slow, so look up how to get into the developer options menu and slow down animations and reduce background apps to only 2-3 open at anytime, this will speed it up.
