I purchased this tv during a Best Buy Drop for an amazing price. For the price paid, this tv is an amazing bargain. It has good sound, the picture quality is good and the brightness is decent. The areas were I have a problem is with the speed of the OS. Google TV sometimes has considerable lag and while it doesn’t always happen, it’s constant enough where it is noticeable. I’m not sure if this is because of the actual television or the software, but it can be annoying. I also wish it was able to connect to my phone through airplay. I knew when buying this tv I was purchasing a top of the line Sony Samsung or LG, or even the best that TCL has to offer. However, I was pleasantly surprise with the TV experience. If I have to purchase a stand alone Google chrome, Apple TV, or Roku, it wouldn’t bother me so much considering the price of the television. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

We finally decided it was time to retire our 32" JVC analog TV. So, off to Best Buy we went. As seniors, we wanted something that wouldn't break the bank but had all that we would want and upon the recommendation from the sales staff, we decided to go with the TCL 50". We had a technician deliver and set up the TV. He did a great job of setting it up and explaining everything to us, coordinating our Xfinity remote with the TV's remote and hooking up our "old school" VCR/DVD player as well. We are very happy with this TV. The clarity and color is beautiful. We did add a sound bar but we did get to hear the sound before sound bar was hooked up and it seemed fine. We are VERY happy with our purchase and glad we finally ditched the analog "beast" and came into the "future"!

Great tv for the bedroom at a great price. Picture quality and sound are great. OS a little slow at times but nothing to make you not want to buy it.

This tv is great. Has an awesome picture and is basically like having a computer or tablet. It is easy to navigate as well

Easy to use and great picture! I purchased mine for my camper. I use the hotspot from my phone for internet and stream anything I want on the tv! I was primarily Samsung only, but the TCL brand is just as good!

Bought for our bedroom. Good enough quality. Extremely easy set up. We did notice that the color was not quite as good as our living room TV (upscale) that is several years old. However, when watching and not comparing, no one would even notice.

Pretty good TV for the price. OS has the delay i've read about with TCL Google TVs but it has a built in chromecast and easy access remote. Wish remote was backlit but overall worth it. As good as I can ask for without spending 1k+ on an OLED

We love this TV. It has a quality picture and it is easily viewed in our sunny room. The OS is a little on the slow side but that is our only complaint. So much better than the Vizio thatvit replaced.

this has great picture quality and and is very good with the colors. valid speaker as well. was able to buy it during a very nice discount which i believe is still going on, get it before it’s too late!

Wanted to upgrade my TV and glad I picked this one. It is so easy to set up and use. Love that I was able to sync home screen with my other devices. Great picture and definitely a great upgrade for me.

This is a great TV with good picture. Is alittle slow in movement when it comes to sports for watching football but overall it was easy to set up. It was a great price for that size tv as well

We love our TV it was our first time purchasing a tv brand new so we were excited. The colors are vibrant after a few adjustments but very nice picture. Especially when watching sports!!

Definition, picture contrast and color depth are, as expected for a Series Q5, QLED flatscreen, exceptional. Why no 5 Stars then? The remote’s design is cumbersome. The settings switch that controls viewing platforms is clumsily located adjacent to the power switch — resulting in inadvertent shutdowns.

Exceptionally clear picture. Lots of free shows included with TCL plus. Was always a fan of Samsung products, but now this is now my favorite. Good price!

So far, I’m happy with the picture quality the sound quality and the overall operation of the TV disappointed with the remote control. Tends to lose its pairing with the TV. Should have a backlight.
