TV is great for the price. Tons of custom picture/ sound options and easy menus.

So far happy with this Television. I like it much better than the fire tv I had.

Although at times in total darkness you may notice the floating halo effect! It’s amazing none the less. Does ok with gaming would recommend the 55 model for that!

Awesome TV just like my 98" TCL only in my bedroom cabinet, and smaller fits perfect.

We purchased this TV at a local Best Buy and when we got through the setup process we noticed a group of dead pixels in the top left corner, a couple in the bottom right as well. For a brand new TV this is not ok, so we packaged it up and returned it at a different Best Buy that had this same model in stock. Took it home and again there were dead pixels in the top left corner. At this point I don't want to waste another hour plus dealing with a return process, so we are keeping this one. I was also surprised to learn that TCL has a 16 dead pixel minimum? That is three times as many dead pixels as other brands, wild. Also frustrating that I could not leave a review for this TV for over a week as the website would claim there is nothing to review. My guess is that if I was to have returned the defective TV, I would not be able to leave a review at all.

Tv is great. Best Buy sucks. Refused price match of tier own price. Talked into more expensive tv and pushed to a Best Buy credit card and my Best Buy membership. My Best Buy membership offered 2 month price matching. Best Buy refused to honor the price. I will take my business elsewhere. Note the screenshot of the price they wouldn’t match. From their app. Awful customer service and experience.

The picture has vibrant colors so no issues with the performance, but the ads on the TV constantly are annoying. Also when it does show you the TV guide it doesn't have numbers on the remote so that you can even specifically choose a channel.

I’m extremely impressed with the TCL QM5K. The picture quality is stunning for the price — the colors are vibrant, the contrast is sharp, and the Mini-LED technology really makes a difference, especially in darker scenes. Blacks look deep without losing detail, and bright scenes pop without being overwhelming. I’m very happy with this TCL TV. The picture quality is sharp, colors are vibrant, and the brightness is more than enough for daily use. The Google TV interface is fast and easy to use, and all popular apps like YouTube, Netflix, and Prime Video work smoothly. Overall, this TV offers excellent performance for its price and is a great choice for movies, sports, and everyday watching. I would definitely recommend it.

A beautiful TV with many options. Very easy to set up and very bright without looking washed out. Colors are vibrant and this TV shines with a 4K Blu-Ray player and a video game console. Video modes are plenty. Cinema mode is worth the price alone as it makes even regular TV look amazing. Gaming mode looks vibrant on both PS5 and Xbox, with both systems showing excellent responsiveness. Menus are well done, but since you can configure so many items, you do get lost until you work with the settings for a bit. Sound is way better than other TV’s of its type. This TV has more range with a little more bass, as compared to other large named TV’s. Sound is clear and not muddy. Have not needed to use my sound bar since installing the TCL. A great product offered by Best Buy.

TV has a very good picture overall and sound quality is good. Brightness is good in a room with many windows. Not entirely happy with lower refresh rate and motion enhancement rate, as it seems to blur a bit with motion, but it is less money than higher rate TVs; also, I wanted 50" size, and higher rates are not available at a reasonable price in many TVs this size (would have had to go to 55", which would be a bit too large for our room). TV also has a couple issues with syncing audio with the video, and, though there is some adjustment available, it seems to differ on different channels/streaming-services (though, not sure if this issue is fully caused by the TV or our cable provider)

Very bright, very precise picture. Fast processor for smooth, fluid navigation. Lots of connection options. Great app options, including Google Free Play. Easy setup. Single complaint: VERY narrow viewing angle. Picture quality drops dramatically at 45 degrees off center

Amazing value for the price; bought this on sale new for $280 pre-tax. Very good quality picture for that price. The only downside is that the 50” model (the one I bought) is locked at a 60 Hz refresh rate at all resolutions, so it could be an issue for high-end gaming. But overall for the price, I really cannot find any other major faults. The picture quality is decent and the OS is snappy enough. Sound quality is nothing special; I bought a soundbar to improve it. Quite happy with my purchase.

Coming from a 10 year old Sony 1080p 50 inch tv this is a whole different image quality. Better colors darker blacks great audio. This tv is bright not the brightest but for the price is and a budget tv this local dimming tv is great. For gaming is not the best but to me and the price is good.

good picture and sound, however it is locked to 60hz, no big deal. However, you must sign in to the google tv for them to harvest and sell your data, otherwise you will be assaulted with “finish setting up your tv” messages. also they lock up netflix and youtube behind the account sign in, so i tried just using the tv thru hdmi without setting up wifi but it becomes a truly unbearable user experience (popping up ads and sign in prompts mid game or movie) so i just gave in and let them install their adware. what a time to be alive

This is the best budget tv I've ever seen. We also got a samsung, but this was a must higher quality picture, sound, and interface. After a lot of consumer research, it seems like that's everyone's consensus. If you're looking for a good quality tv but can't spend over $500, this is it.
