    Glitchy and laggy

    The software on this TV is horribly slow and glitchy. Navigating between menus and apps is very laggy. It also likes to open random apps. Twice in the past week while watching YouTube, Netflix would open by itself and would keep opening back up even after switching back to YouTube. The picture is fine for the price of the TV but horrible software makes it not worth it.

    This tv was used outdoors under a covered patio and it wasn't bright enough to see during the day. Bought a Amazon tv instead. Much better and half the price.

    Tv had spots on the bottom of tv screen and customer service sucked said they was going to replace the tv but they was out of that one but was going to upgrade to a bigger one and we have gotten nothing but a run around with it and finally supposed to be getting a refund!! I will never purchase a tv from Best Buy and especially online I’m getting tv’s at the stores from now on and I used to buy from Best Buy all the time when I was younger and never had a issue with anything until now!!

    This is the worst TV I've ever owned. Scratch that - the worst piece of electronics I've ever owned. The UI is incredibly slow, the sound is terrible, the audio doesn't even match the video unless you adjust the delay. Which why you would want to do that I have no idea. But you adjust it, it looks fine, and then it resets to being way off when you turn the TV off. I can't begin to say what a piece of junk this is. I know it's a cheap TV, but wow. There is a base level of expectations that this doesn't even come close to meeting.

    Buy the Roku TV instead

    I really wish it was better, but somehow it's way faster to Chromecast to our Roku TV than this Google TV. Also the blacks are super washed out!

    Returning for a Samsung

    TV failed to connect to WiFi, despite trying two different networks. Then, the screen froze. I’m not too upset because I got it as a gift, and Google Home/TV is horrible. So, now I can return it and get a real TV with better content and streaming services (Samsung). Don’t try to save a few bucks and settle for a low-quality TV—it will always come back to bite you.

    This TV is really bad. Well u get what u pay for but it’s really bad. The tv is really dark, and worse, the tv is at default 100 brightness, out of the box. Plus despite of how fast ur internet is, even wired, the tv lags a lots and delayed like crazy. The Q5 is exactly the same.

    Came to us broken and the box looked like it had been through a war. Cant believe they delivered it like that. Then I had to return it to the store after I had it delivered. It was a huge hassel.

    Picture background was dark, we had to adjust color settings every time we turned it in on as well as low sound quality . TCL advice line could not solve the issue. Returned the product

    Don't buy for HDMI streaming

    Unacceptable as a HDMI monitor unless you use a short cable. Long (unidirectional) cable with or without amplifier and ScreenCast as an alternatives results in flakey behavior with the connection dropping every 10 minutes or so.
