    This is the worst TV I’ve ever had. At first it was fine, the picture is nice and I’m a low stress user, but the interface is slow and freezes constantly. Optical audio slowly stopped working on most apps and the TCL TV settings don’t even recognize it even though it’s part of the hardware. The audio and streaming apps are off but not consistently to be able to adjust it. The TV and remote often freeze. I wish I could return.

  • Seemed a good deal, but only if it worked right.

    The TV "looked" new. It was sealed, but the first thing I noticed was that the instructions for mounting the TV said to remove the existing 4 screws. I only had 2 to remove since 2 were missing. Then I noticed that the cable connection was cross threaded making it difficult to screw in the connector. I tuned in one of my paid services, and the picture showed a lot of lost detail in the shadows. I went through advanced and expert calibration settings and still couldn't bring up the shadow detail with out thinning out the overall image too much. Then I noticed that the picture would go slightly lighter and darker at times. I checked to make sure no power saving modes were on, and they weren't. In TV mode the picture was better, but after 3 days of owning this set, flickering horizontal lines appeared in every mode. I have a separate TV antenna from my router, so I know it was a fault in the set. I checked my connections, and they were fine, and everything is plugged into a >3,000 joules surge protector. It's a shame, I liked the remote and features, but if this wasn't a previously purchased TV, then the missing screws, cross threaded connector, the loss of detail in shadow areas, and the flickering lines appearing on the 3rd day of ownership indicate poor construction and quality control. Oh well, Memorial Day sales are coming up.

  • WARNING! SOME TCLs DO NOT CONNECT BT SOUNDBARS

    I purchased this TV thinking it would connect to my 2023 soundbar via Bluetooth, no matter what I did it would not connect. I call TCL customer service number and they told me TCL tv's only connects via bluetooth to phone app as a remote for the tv. TCL certain tv's do not have the capability to connect soundbars via Bluetooth.

  • Horrible Experience!

    This was a Horrible experience! I spoke to 6 different people and 2 chats after the TV never showed up trying to get a refund. NO ONE helped me even after 4 people said I would get a refund, which never came. Then the TV was delivered on 12/1 after I already purchased a replacement TV that I had to pick up. I then had to take the delivered TV back to Best Buy to finally get my refund! And no compensation at all from Best Buy for all this trouble!! I have never had such poor service as well as the customer service people who speak broken English because Best Buy won't allow you to call the store directly anymore.
