The picture is crystal clear, and 55” has always been, for me, the perfect screen size. My only complaint is that it sometimes will turn off on its own even though I disabled the auto off feature. I leave the TV on for my dogs when I go to work, it keeps them from barking. Usually it will turn off automatically after two hours.

Not a lot of control over picture or sound like my living room TV. It is a brand name and it has lasted for many, many years. But, all in all, This TLC television is a nice bargain !

intermittent black screen after a year or so
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If the TV is working perfectly, it is awesome! Great picture and simple - no tricky settings... HOWEVER, after a year or so, we are starting to get an intermittent black screen that is becoming a nuisance. There is a tricky remote thing I found online that will fix it for a while, but then it comes back. That trick is to take your roku remote and press the following sequence (quickly): Home button - 5x's up button - once rewind button - twice FF button - twice The TV will then go through a series of weird things and it should work for a while after that. After this experience, I would not recommend this model to anyone. I have found the Fire TV types to be better.

Great budget 4k TV

Smart TV allows not requiring other supplemental devices; however, a pain point is that the Apple TV+ app works only intermittently on this TV, no matter how many times you log in, change WiFi, etc. Additionally, it is a TV best for viewing straight-on as the ability to view from side angles is not great, so keep that in mind when considering the use for this TV. Works for me in my 1BR apartment. If relevant to you, just note there is no bluetooth audio to headphones available for this device.
