Second TCL

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know it's not a Samsung TV but my old 49" TCL linked with all my Samsung devices for Smart View with no problems. My same devices have trouble finding this TV. Sometimes things should just work. It's 2022, not 1995. That's my main complaint. Screen and other features are great. No annoying dark corners. Sound is actually better to my soundbar. 20 volume on this TV was 30+ on my last. But my next one may be a Samsung 75" because of these connect issues. Hopefully an update will fix this.

The TV picture quality is as good as I expected. I have never owned a 4K tv before, so I don't have any good reference points to compare. My only complaint is the Roku remote. All the Roku remotes I have used before have used RF. I was very disappointed to find that this TV uses IR in the remote it comes with. Luckily, you can pair any Roku remote to replace it. But I still deducted a star for the inconvenience and waste of the remote it comes with.
