The quality of Tv is really poor. I have purchases this since the price was really cheap for HD TV. While watching still pics, the quality of picture is ok but when I was watching a action scene in Prime, the face of the person is not clear. The faces were not even recognizable. And when I scrolling through the movies list in prime, the screen is stuck. I am unable to do anything in prime. The remote is working fine when I move to Youtube but from Prime I cannot do anything. I turned off and then on multiple times, still prime the screen is stuck. No way to refresh the page. Worst tv I have seen. Probably return it.

I'm loving the features the TV offers. Although, the TV has not been installed yet. But, I expect it to work well. My daughter has one that works very and this was my reasoning for choosing this particular television.

Was a gift to elderly family member who had a difficult time figuring out how to setup television After being help by another family member with setup they’re enjoying the television. Good price and quality television

Great tv but every now and then the screen glitches and we have to unplug the tv and let it reboot. This happens at least once a week. It is not bad just annoying as the reboot takes a min.

Excellent TV for the price the picture quality could be a little better. This's good television for the bedroom or a kids room. Not a TV for the living room.

Great value 4K TV, the Android OS runs better than the standalone Amazon firestick I used to use while offering a better selection of apps. I paired it with a TCL sound bar so I can't comment too much on the built in speaker quality.

I’ve had better TVs, but this is definitely not the worst! It definitely does the job and considering what I paid, I’m more that satisfied. It went on sale for less than I paid and Best Buy seamlessly refunded me the difference. It’s a great, basic smart TV.

Bought this TV and so far I am very pleased with it. Best buy customer service has never let me down. Over the last few years I have bought items from BestBuy and they have been awesome I love shopping their open box and Clearance deals.

The TCL 5 Series has an exceptional contrast ratio. It displays deep blacks when viewed in the dark. The full-array local dimming feature improves the contrast a bit. The sound quality is average but this is a budget 4K TV.

Amazing tv best TV I ever owned I can't say one thing I just like about this TV it works I the only thing I have the only problem I have is find the remote at times it's a little bit small it's the most also Bluetooth so yeah it's good TV

built-in audio sounds lousy and is below-average (headphone jack has its own issues, so shelf stereo may be problematic); TV tuner had some minor issues picking up local stations that my Vizio and Samsung dont; picture quality is tough to describe - I think there is a firmware issue because sometimes changing the settings had no impact and other times there was a delayed response....I had a hard time keeping the video settings as desired; one positive is the Android TV interface - it is excellent

Love this Tv for the prize I got it for. I wanted something just ok for me to use on the weekends. Remote is not so great, almost like a toy, sometimes it doesn’t work as well.

Its a decent 4k 60hz tv. Not very durable in my opinions. Tv stop coming on after a year. But i loved the many features of the tcl tv. I recommend getting protection for this tv,

Nice TV but was told by the sell person that was a Roku TV which was the type of TV we were looking for when we got home we realized that it was an android TV not kool we were used to our Roku why lie to us? Now we have adapt to the new TV

TV is pretty good. Edge lighting is pretty harsh compared to other TVs I have. The Roku TVs are much better and I’m not a huge fan of the Android interface but I picked it up for $200 so it was hard to beat.

Purchase the TCL 55 S434 - For the price point you can't go wrong. Initially, I had an issue with the sound not coming on. I wrote TCL Customer Support and they responded. After following their step by step instructions, I haven't had an issue.

Excellent design very easy to set up. Remote is great will hear your voice even over the tv playing in the background. Need to have a google play account to be able to download apps. I have had no issues with the tv and has a quick boot up time.

grabbed this during the november weekly sales it was only $200 so my review is based off that price point... for the price its definitely worth it... got it to throw in the kids room and upgrade them to a 4k tv... would definitely do it again

Picture is fine but can’t be turned off with Apple TV remote. Avoid if you use Apple TV. Works with chromecast with google tv.
