    Low build quality, avoid at all costs

    I purchased this TV on a flash sale for $199. Even for that price, it is not even remotely worth it. The backlight bleed along all edges of the TV is the worst I've ever seen. If the screen is black, the edges are light grey. The Android TV interface is also really counterintuitive and clunky. There is no way to set a default input on the TV, so you can't have it automatically go to a Roku stick or Apple TV consistently (it works about half the time, but sometimes you'll turn on the Apple TV and the TV won't turn on, sometimes turning off the TV won't turn off the Apple TV, etc.). This TV is really just one big headache. I'd recommend going with something else.

    I've had it for just over 2 weeks. At times it is slow to respond and sometimes not at all to the remote. It also flickers and puts vertical black lines on the screen on occasion for about 10 seconds. Im very nervous that it will continue to get worse.

    This TV is nothing compared to a Roku TV. This TV have fewer apps. I cannot download local tv apps on it like I can on a Roku TV. I have to cast apps from my computer or other devices onto this TV. The good thing about it is that I bought it on sale.

    This store had poor customer service and my tv was sold without a power cord and my box was retaped. An hour delivery was at least 6 hours late. Tv not bad after the inconvenience of having to locate a power cord for it to purchase. Connectivity issues!

    Very glitchy TV

    Picture and features are ok. The UI is noticeably laggy. But this probably the worst and most glitchy TV I have ever purchased. I tried to pair some Bluetooth headphones to it, which caused it to crash constantly until I reset the tv back to factory settings. The TV WiFi stops working intermittently for no apparent reason. The tv will stop responding to the remote every few days. Most of the issues are resolved if you power cycle the tv. I bought this tv for $200 on Black Friday and use it as a spare tv in my home office, so for that price, I’m willing to put up with the inconveniences. But after this experience, I don’t think I would ever purchase another TCL tv.

    Don't waste your time. Big piece of junk

    Ordered a TV online to go pick up. Have to drive an hour to get there. Got to store and saw that I ordered the wrong one. Against my better judgement, I went ahead and brought it home. HUGE mistake. First off the stands are cheaply made. Wall mount holes are on the bottom of the TV instead of the top. Meaning in will be top heavy when mounted. Last but not least. Got stuck in Netflix and wouldn't let me out to watch regular TV. Spend some real money and get a good one. I'll get a Visio like I usually do

    Great price but picture quality is below average. When selecting the different picture settings, it was either too dark or too bright. You have to make a lot of adjustments in the picture settings to make it look reasonable.

    I had bad experince with this tv, the picture is bad quality. Aftet one year the screen went black, called TCL and was not able to fix it and they sent me refurbised (not new) tv.

    Nothing but problems!!!!

    I haven’t had this tv a month and I cannot connect to Netflix, Amazon, Hulu Etc! My other tv I bought 2.5 years ago from Best Buy just blew up. Nothing but problems with tv’s from Best Buy. very unhappy customer!!!!!!!

    Narrow viewing angles. Remote is a piece of junk! You have get up and walk to in front of the TV for it to even work and then it is still slow.

    Worse than bad!!!

    This is the worst TV I've ever owned or laid eyes on. First off its one of the TCL TV's that can be hacked into and that TCL has a "backdoor" into. Dont believe me, Google for yourself. Second is the pure garbage picture quality. There is no sharpness setting and I used it for a PC monitor and it wasnt even good enough to be horrible. Do yourself a favor and get a name brand TV. I wasted a few hours driving to the BB twice, lugging it up and down the stairs, setting it up, packing it up, blahh.. Time is money and for $100 you can have a quality name brand TV.

    Pay for something better

    Do not buy this tv. There were moments that the TV appeared pixelated. Buffers with some apps. Decided to return it. Do not settle for less after all it costs a few hundred dollars.

    Variable audio output latency

    Picture quality bis acceptable if you aren't bat all picky. If you want to use anything other than the horrible sounding tv speakers the tv is nearly worthless. I ran sound via HDMI ARC port and it had a pretty significant audio delay. No problem I thought I'll just manually correct for the audio delay on my receiver. Fairly simple. Except that everyday that I use the TV the lag amount is literally different and I have to readjust it again. It's ridiculous and enraging. I'm tempted to throw the tv into the trash because not this.

    Crappy internet connection
