I love the Geek Squad for their very professional service. The install process, the demonstration of the how to's and do not's met my needs. The Android TV is very compatible to my needs. I have a Google Pixel phone and the TV and other devices compliment one another. The quality, size and visual is what I was looking for.

I love everything except the CEC. First off, I am upgrading from a 39inch 720p Vizio to this 55in 4K and wow. The colors are so vivid. This will obviously not give you the type of colors that an OLED can provide. However, the price is worth this buy. I would buy it again.
My only issue has to deal with the CEC capability . I am an avid FireTV user. With my previous TV I was able to use the tv remote to control FireTV through HDMI CEC. However, with this TV it’s not that simple. Every time you want to use your tv remote to control the FireTV you have to go to settings>system>T-link>guide. Only then will it allow you to control the fire stick. However, with guide activated, you end up with a big virtual remote on the screen. It’s unfortunate but I’ll live using two remotes for now.

Had to get used to the android TV v Roku TV

I needed a tv for the kitchen/family room, for above the fireplace. This TCL androidtv was priced just right, so I decided to purchase it. The problem with setting it up was the fact that I have Spectrum TV and Roku and this androidtv haven't come to an agreement to add the Spectrum App to their Apps list. I fixed that problem by just downloading the apps of the channels I normally watch and had the TCL join our network, and then it was fine. I am very happy with this purchase! Clear picture and very responsive remote after I programmed said remote to the tv! Before doing so, the remote responded but slooooooooowwwwly. Once I programmed the remote, it's working great!

A great android tv for the price . Its not a high end one like the Sony bravia . But a casual one and a good quality one for the price. $200 was the price I paid and is the best I could for this price . Loving it.

Great TV for the price. Not as good as my Plasma, but nowhere near the cost. Hard to believe you can get a quality TV for this price.

$200 for 55" or 4k, who could ask for more. Great price for a lot of real estate. Some of the colors are represented a little too vibrant, tweaking the settings makes them acceptable. Worth the money, have other TCL with Roku operating system, not worth the extra$$ in my opinion.

The quality of the image is pretty good. The built in Google assistant feature on the controller is nice, and the layout of the home screen is visually appealing, but that's about it.
I have another TCL TV I purchased from Best Buy in the past, but this is a Roku version and I can't help but compare the two and feel like the TCL Android TV version with Google Chromecast may not be as good the TCL with Roku TV.
One of the biggest issues for me is that it is not compatible with the Smart View feature that is offered on Samsung phones and I'm forced to use the Chromecast feature. Which isn't as convenient because I have to open up a the Google Home app and click my devic want to cast to and then click even more buttons to cast it to my TV instead of just using my pulled down bar for Smart View. Since I was able to use Smart View on my TCL Roku TV, I just assumed I could use both on my TCL Android TV. Very disappointed that this feature isn't supported for some reason.
I use Google hub for both of my TCL TV's to turn them on and off, adjust volume and launch programs while I'm in the kitchen cooking, or don't have immediate access to my remote. More than half the time, when I tell my Google Hub to turn on or off this TV (TCL Android TV), I get an error and says it can't connect right now. I've never had that issue with my TCL Roku TV, which I've had for over 2 years. In literally minutes, Google assistant through my hub is working for this TV, the next minute it's not. It's very frustrating
I'm still unsure if I want to keep this TV. I'm considering just returning it for a different smart TV.
These features are one of the reasons I purchased this TV.

Awesome TV. The picture is great, though you may want to get a sound bar for if you really care about sound (but I think that is true of any TV these days). There are 3 HDMI ports and a converter for AVI (red, white, yellow) port. There is only one spot for AVI so if you have an older device (Xbox 360/Wii) you have to manually switch between them. I love that there are a lot of things built in like Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc so you don’t need to plug in an additional device to have them.

This is my second TCL TV from Best Buy and have not been disappointed. The 55” screen size is a good size for a bedroom. Picture is very good for this price range. The Android operating system works well with no hang ups. The sound is average which would be improved with a sound bar. Overall, good value and would recommend purchase.

I must say this tv has great colors. You can add apps to it and whatever tv service you have is great. The volume is super great and playing a game system on it works great everything looks good. Sometimes the tv does get slow if you don’t power it off from time to time.

TCL will last two years. After 2 months, color issues began. After 5 months, the tv kept stalling. After 1 year, the tv had issues with wifi. The 2nd year, the tv went blank with lines. Unfortunately, I had 30 days to return it when I purchased it. Best Buy even stated I was past the warranty period.
