Decent picture quality, good sound, straight forward set up. The best part is that the WiFi can be turned off and ethernet connected.

Beautiful picture and a very flexible arrangement of online streaming. Only problem comes when screen casting from a (non-Android) computer (from Windows via Chrome). Windows does not see it as a castable device, and while Chrome can cast to it, there will be significant delays. But Android devices (phones/tablets) seem to work well with it.

The unit was easy to set up and has worked very well. I have no complaints. Good picture and good price. What more could you want?

I now own 2 TCL TVs. I loved this one so much I went and purchased another smaller one for my other room. They are a great picture at a very little price. Such an easy setup also. I have had mine now for about 2 months and I watch it almost everyday for hours at a time. Love the remote which has the YouTube button built in. I love watching YouTube for the music videos. Also has the Netflix button built in. Great picture quality. Also had it delivered to my door. Fantastic delivery service which is super fast.

Works great. Resolution is good and great sound quality. Wish the remote was backlit it’s hard to see the buttons in the dark.

Great TV! High quality tv in terms of display and sound. If you have an iPhone - then you won’t integrate with the tv as easily but - I have Apple TV and had a FireStick prior to that. I dislike the smart functions of the tv. Even when connected to the Ethernet the processor is too slow! I’d rather go to my output -> Apple TV and enjoy the high quality. If you have any smart tv add on, I would def buy this tv!

The picture quality on this tv is great. After lowering the brightness, increasing the contrast, and keeping the black level at 50 I was able to get a picture with nice darks and brilliant whites. Also drop the sharpness to 0. So far this tv hasn’t given me a problem. The App Store has every app you need to stream shows and movies. 55” is good for the living room. I’ll stick to this brand and get a bigger one next time. Happy with this purchase.

I got a 55” LCT Smart Tv, based on a Wirecutter recommendation. My son in law went with me to pick it up. It was ready for pickup about 1/2 hour after I ordered it. 2 nice young men brought it to my car, & verified my purchase. I thought we should have tipped them, but he said “No they are on salary”. Sorry I didn’t have a few bucks for them. So I’m very pleased with my purchase. Very clear picture & vivid graphics. So far, no problems. I do want an extra remote control. How can I get one? Thanks

This tv was great upon arrival. At this time, I am in the process of purchasing a newer one. This tv has a fairly good picture, nicely sized, accessible apps, and the sound is ok. I honestly think that for the cost at the time, it was worth it. If you’re looking for a standard tv to watch with not too many features, this is a great purchase. I would also recommend this tv as a great purchase for a teen or child.

First off, I have a 65" TCL series 6 ROKU and an older Visio 50" that I have ROKU hooked up to. My old 40' Visio bit the dust and rather than get it repaired, Best Buy was running a Black Friday special on this 55" Series 4 Android for $199. Roku version was $279. Wanted to give Android a shot, just to compare between the two OS's and for the price, couldn't pass this up. Have this set up in a smaller, viewing room for daily use, not in the man cave. Is this comparable to the series 6? No. But does it work for average viewing. Absolutely. Easy set up, runs all my apps Youtube, Netflix, Mickey Mouse, Huba Huba. Any Cons you ask? It's a bit slower at the start up and changing channels & Apps but nothing significant. Biggest thing to get used to is the Android Remote, compared to Roku's. Android put the off button where the back button is located on Roku's. I've turned off the Android TV hitting what I think is the back button a few times. Roku's remote is simple and simply the best. For the price, a decent 55" UHD TV, delivered, with an on special wall mount for $30, and a 2 year $30 warranty, If this lasts 2 years and a day, I won't complain. Android isn't bad, just like Roku better.

This is great TV for $200. The picture is a definite upgrade over my previous 1080 TV. Sound is ok but I recommend getting a sound bar. It takes a little time for the screen and interface to boot up. For some reason when I use an Amazon fire stick, the picture is horrible. I probably have to play around with the settings but have been too lazy. I use just the Android TV interface and it's fine. Has all the apps I need.
