A definite upgrade from my Samsung 42-inch TV that this TV replaced. Quick and easy setup through my cell phone I love the fact that is Android I can add apps very easy the color and Clarity of the picture is awesome. I like the fact that l can adjust the picture quality and the sound quality depending upon what I'm watching such as movies sports or just regular TV. Overall very satisfied with this TV and we definitely recommend it

While the buttons at the bottom for YouTube and Prime video are wasted space, this TV is an excellent 4k starter tv. If you have an android phone, then this is the tv version of that. While the sound quality isn't top tier by a long shot, what did you expect for a 4k TV for less then 400 dollar's? But in the end, I truly enjoy this TV and I'm sure for those looking for a cheap 4k starter, you can't beat it for the price and size.

We picked up this TCL 55" 4 series as a 2nd TV/gaming TV. Out of the box the setting were borderline terrible. After dialing it in it actually has a solid picture for what we paid (we scored a great Black Friday deal). It does decent with our PS4, over all picture quality is pretty good. It won't wow you but dial the settings in and you won't be disappointed either.

Picture is great, T.V. is very light and easy to hang on wall mount. Sound is pretty good as well.

Bought this 55" TV for $199 as a black Friday deal and wasn't disappointed at all. The goal here was the price for the size. The picture quality is great and have no complaints there. I have Android TV version which is sometimes a bit laggy in response time for some apps where you hear sound but have ţo wait for video to catch up. My setup uses the Stream TV hardware through an HDMI which works for me.

I really enjoy this TV. It has a good picture. I’m not a TV snob, it’s an HD picture that looks good to me. I do appreciate good tech though. The available apps are amazing. There are so many to download and the onboard chromecast works flawlessly. My son and I don’t even use a gaming console because we play the games we downloaded on the TV. Excellent TV for the price. I’m fairly sure that I’m getting a second one for my bedroom.

We bought this tv because of the reviews on CNET. Very easy to set up and the picture is great. Remote is simple, not a lot of buttons, so that’s a nice change. We were happily surprised that we could stream from our iPhones to this android based tv. Had no idea we could do that! Volume level is just fine for us. We also could pair wireless headphones with is so my husband can listen to it as loud as he wants. Great purchase !

Great picture. Like android TV much better than Roku. Kodi works with it.

4k and upscale 4k picture is excellent and better than I expected. Wifi reception and speeds are great- can even stream games at 4k from pc and play with any controller you plug in. Thoigh 60hz isnt great its not noticable unless playing high movement movies and games, but you know that already. Anyway, there is only one usb but a cheap usb hub works to plug in any extra equipment. In short, I am very pleased with this tv.

You get what you pay for... I had an older and smaller TCL with native ROKU. Picture wasn't great but was very usable and has lasted 5 years. I thought I'd try this to experiment with the Android OS... Not good. This TV is super "buggy". It is almost as if the hardware is not strong enough to support the Android OS. Often freezes. Remote doesn't work (but mostly because apps are freezing). I often have to unplug and replug in. Picture is good quality. At first I thought it was the Android OS, but I gave A-OS another shot on the Sony Brava. The Sony A-OS has the exact same look and feel but navigates at lightning speed. This one there is a delay with every action taken. I would DEFINITELY return it if it wasn't such a hassle. I would probably try a Roku model before an Android. At least on TCL.
