Picture quality could be a little better on some shows and movies, most noticeable when the scene is darker. Otherwise it's been a good purchase. My remote had died at some point, but TCL sent me a new one, no issue.

So far the tv has held up to my expectations and the quality exceeds what may be expected for a budget item. I hope to get at least another year of use from this tv before I have to replace it.

It has Dolby Vision so for a bedroom or living room tv it is pretty clean. I'd suggest something bigger or of higher quality if looking for greater quality in the visual department. Look for something with dimming zones.

We will see how it holds up for the next couple years. The menus are not the best. You have to go through multiple layers for some functions that should be right at the beginning such as the channel guide

If you're looking for a solid budget TV to watch movies and stream Netflix, this TCL will be as close to perfect as you'll find for the price. Excellent picture and the sound is far beyond what I expected, though a decent sound bar goes a long way. As for modern gaming, take my advice and look elsewhere. If you're playing anything that's capable of HDR, you're going to have a bad time. The screen tends to ghost pretty bad and you'll see red, green, and yellow trails while moving. It's beyond annoying and ends up ruining your gaming experience. If you're running an Xbox Series X or PS5, you'd be doing yourself a favor by paying more for a TV with 120hz capable HDMI 2.1. For general use this TCL is hard to beat for the price, but for a gamer it can ruin your entire experience.

This is a stop gate for the Sony 810c that went out. It holds its own ok. It’s biggest flaw is that it’s not bright. At this price point, I highly recommend it. The operation system is good and the features are decent for the price. Give it a try.

The screen is beautiful my PS4 Pro and Xbox 1 X seriously POP amazingly on this. The price made this an easy buy but I would suggest this at full price. Easily one of the, no pun intended, best buys in my time of buying items.

Dolby digital 5.1 works OK from optical output if incoming video/audio streaming or DVD content has DD. Very bad controls on TV (only multi purpose knob, no MUTE on remoute)
