You get what you pay for

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this TV to replace my 2009 Panasonic Plasma HDTV (1080p) in my man cave where I do my workouts. I didn't want to spend a lot of $$$ and I wanted to go with the Android OS just because I'm familiar with it. What's to like about this TV. The size, the price and may be the Android OS though I don't use any of the apps on the TV as I have it connected to my Apple TV instead. Although it's a 4K, the picture quality is not as good as the Panasonic HDTV that I replaced. I think it's something to do with color saturation and contrast. I'm no expert in video quality but I can tell something is not right. As others have said, the TV is a bit slow and I also experience blackouts. It goes off for a second or two and then comes back on. Would I buy it again? Nope, though I have no intention of replacing it soon because I only use it when I'm working out in the basement. If it were my main TV, I would certainly be more disappointed. If you want a better picture or have high expectations then this TV is not for you.

Bang for buck
