Surprised with just how good it is. This TV is a steal. Some of the higher end TVs just are too intense. They are visually noisy and hard to watch. This TV has an amazing quality that isn't too much. Having Google was a huge buying point for us.

Great value on a large, clear TV. Tons of inputs, good color, lightweight. I normally use with with my PS4 and it works great even in lit environments. I purchased it Open Box but its definitely worth the full price.

This TV is of great quality. Easy setup and great price. The customer service at the store was also suberb. It was the weekend before Super Bowl Sunday and they had been busy loading cars with TVs all day. Even with this, they did a great job ensuring the TV was in the car properly.

I purchased this TV with the intent to play Nintendo Switch games and stream shows and movies using the built in apps. So far it works well, and I haven't had any issues with the image quality, aside from "HDR 10+" sometimes causing peoples' skin to turn bright red or orange in certain spots, which I noticed while watching 4K HDR content through Prime Video. This is not my main media machine, so it functions well when I just want to play games or watch media on a big screen. DISPLAY: I'm guessing the TV is true 4K, as all the streaming apps that have 4k available automatically stream at that resolution. It's pretty good for when I want to see Richard Hammond crash again and again in 4k on a big screen. Like I previously mentioned, the HDR is somewhat "meh", causing some minor coloring issues, and there is no option to disable it. If great HDR is what you're looking for in a TV, this isn't it. If you don't care for HDR content, this TV is good enough. The default color accuracy isn't that great, and you will need to adjust the colors yourself. The TV comes with an expert color tuning mode that I didn't use, since the basic settings were enough to get the colors I wanted. GAMING: I've only used my Nintendo Switch with this TV, but I've had no issues using it. Just note that the TV uses some kind of upscaling to match the Switch's 1080p output to the 4k display. Interestingly, I think switch games look better on this 55" 4k-upscaled output compared to my 24" 1080p gaming monitor. INPUT LAG: If you plan on playing any fast-paced or fighting games, like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, MAKE SURE THE PICTURE IS SET TO GAME MODE. The input lag is unbearable on anything other than game mode, but once game mode was active, the input lag was almost identical to my gaming monitors. STREAMING: The OS is fairly decent, with the downside of lagging with certain apps I've tried, such as Crunchyroll and Prime Video. There's a second or two delay when navigating the menu in Prime Video, and in Crunchyroll, the app is just short of freezing when you try to exit out of playback. Other apps, such as Apple TV and YouTube work very smoothly. I have not tried other streaming apps, but I can attest to the performance or lack thereof of these four apps. I would recommend using a game console or a dedicated streaming stick over using the built in Google TV OS. One negative side to using Google TV on this TCL is that TCL forces you to sign in or create a TCL account in order to access Google TV. That's another account you have to create and another company you have to entrust information to. That's about the only big gripe I have with this TV. OVERALL: Pretty decent TV for when I want to watch stuff or play games on a big 4k screen. Google TV can be a little sluggish, but you can always get a dedicated streaming device and plug it into the TV. The HDR isn't that great.

For the price you really can’t beat this. Great image quality. Easy to use google tv interface. If you have a big room you’ll need a soundbar but that’s standard with just about any tv these days. I would grab this tv again without hesitation
