    Unfortunatley, 13 days after exchange date tv constantly freezes and have to turn off and back on to work.....Would have been nice to exchange....expensive lesson learned.

    Yonkers bestbuy employees steal. Box was cleverly open as to not appear as so. Inner contents was removed. Now I have to waste time and carfare returning back to best buy. Security needs to do a better job on its own employees

    Very happy with my new TV. Many to choose from and I made the right decision. The price was, I believe, very reasonable considering the quality of the TV. Out of all the available TV"s at Best Buy, I made the right decision. Thank You Best Buy for your great selection of products and also for your shipping service that was not only fast but the delivery people were very nice and helpful.

    Trash, backlight dies after only 6 month. I can only see a flicker when I turn the TV on, then black screen with sound.

    If I could give it 0 stars, I would. This tv functions to the capacity of a monitor and that is about it. I don’t know if it is the brand or the platform. But, you get what you pay for. It takes a very long time for many apps to open, and nearly daily, I get errors in opening which aren’t on the streaming server side of things. It also freezes and buffers a lot, despite being hardwired at 1000Mbps. I’ve ended up just using an external Roku because the 3 primary steamers I use, fail to open or freeze on the tv so often (and never a problem opening/playing the same on the Roku). It may be a coincidence that this started happening much more in the past few months since the 1-year warranty expired. Without touching the remote, I will randomly get interrupted by the TCLchannel app trying to open and sign up. From day one, I was annoyed that it took more than 30 button pushes to set a sleep timer, and despite update notes saying that custom shortcuts can be made, they can’t. The screensaver works, but if I pause and step away for more than 3-5 minutes, it returns itself to the home page and I have to go through the rigamarole all over to get back to what I had paused. Every single day I am annoyed with this television, and have found functional-enough work-arounds that I don’t want to replace it after a year. In order justify the single star, my only positive feedback is that the picture quality is fine, and brightness is adequate. Added: BestBuy won’t submit without my adding the “optional” break down. I have given all one star because I refuse to give more than one star this tv. Picture quality 4 star Sound quality 4 star Brightness 3 star But they forgot to ask about user functionality, app functionality, app availability, streaming quality…

    This TCL 55" smart TV is amazing, the picture is clear and perfect. It sounds great, but it took a little time to get use to the remote. Now my husband and I are pros and love this TV.

    Constant app errors with the BASE app on the tv, the response time of the tv is abysmal, the remote will often unpair with the tv and the voice commands are incredibly inconsistent. The mechanical parts of the tv seem to work as expected. Clear picture, decent default speakers. Over all, after two years, i do not recommend this tv and it has strongly discourage buying this tv for the sole reason of constant app errors.

    If you would have asked me when I first got this bedroom tv, I would have given it 5 stars. For the price, the picture is good, sounds in good, and ease of use is great. All has been working well, until recently the screen flickers black to grey on the Home Screen. I can’t control or use anything on the tv when this happens. I have to power down and reset the tv, then reboot and it will work for a day. Everyday I have to do the same thing. I see this is a common issue from my internet searches. Disappointed and going to return for a different brand. My first and last TCL.

    Do Not Buy

    Literally the worst TV I have ever owned. If I could give it zero stars I would. You have to be logged into your google account at all times just to watch tv. The interface is crowded and confusing. The apps you see, like HBO Max, are not the actual apps, but google recommendations from those apps. If you want to go into the actual app, you have to find it, which isn’t always easy to do. We’ve had ours for only a few months and it stopped connecting to the internet. Do. Or buy the Google TV. Just get the Roku version of the TCL and save yourself a lot of unnecessary headaches.

    The tv is great. Great picture and great sound. The remote have a hard time responding sometimes but I think that has more to do with the cable service than the remote or tv itself.
