The only bad review so far is the fact that you can't mount the tv :( no mounting option is available for this TV.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. This TV does indeed have the ability to be wall mounted. There are a total of 4 mounting holes. 2 of them have screws in them, and should be removed. We recommend using the appropriate M6 screws that come in the mounting bracket screw kit. This TV uses a 300mm x 300mm VESA mounting pattern. Hope this helps!

The bang for your buck is great

While I'd never recommend this TV as the centerpiece of an even mid-level home theater, nor for PS5/Series S gaming (due to the low refresh rate), it does it's job well as a bedroom TV. The Google OS is sluggish compared to my other (much more expensive) TV in my living room, but I like the versatility of this OS and the app selection is good. I should note that the OS is decently responsive if you wait a minute after powering the TV on to interact with it. Once in a streaming app, the actual viewing experience has been flawless. The picture quality is far better than you could expect from a TV in this price range. I like Cinema mode for shows and movies, but game mode is a must when playing games as the input lag is noticeable when in any other mode. TCL seems like a real up-and-comer.

Really good TV and very affordable

We thought it might be too big at 55 inches, but it worked really well. We were also concerned about heat generation but that is not an issue either. The TV has a really good picture and easy to set up. She has an Xbox hooked up to it and that works well.

Easy Peazy

It basically set itself up minus a few button selections, love this wireless connection to our WiFi. The picture is so awesome, it’s almost like 3D. And the color is vibrant. We barely have the volume up and it’s clear and loud. The closed captioning is exceptionally good and easy to focus on. Love it!!

Don’t get the Google TV version (get Roku instead)

The Google TV platform is clunky and slow. The sound quality from the tv is horrible. It doesn’t matter how you adjust it. I had to buy a soundbar with Roku in order for this tv to be enjoyable.
