A nice simple TV with a great price...but...

If you're watching in a day lit room prepare to miss scene that take place in darkness. Any dark movie or show looks like the episode of GOT we all had to listen to but not see. You know the one. Otherwise...a nice TV.

You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. Additionally, you can access expert picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. The Roku mobile app works as a remote and allows you to access additional features like voice search, private listening, expert picture settings, and more. Hope this helps & happy viewing!

Great TV, amazing picture

I tried buying a Samsung 55in last yr, the NU6900 model, and it had a flashing problem, so brought it back. No problems with this one.

Mines wall mounted and instructions weren’t too clear for where the two mounts were. Turns on fast gives a nice tutorial for usage. Roku app makes typing users names and passwords easy

Terrible product

One for my basement and one as a housewarming gift for my mother in law. Her move in date got pushed back because of the COVID-19 pandemic and shutdowns in Pennsylvania. So I kept it in the box and gave it to them about three months after purchasing. The TV didn’t work. TCL will not honor the warranty. I understand that some TVs aren’t going to work out of the box, I just expect the company to support their products. Do not buy this product as the company does not care about customer satisfaction and does not support their products. I gave my mother in law the TV I bought for my basement and now I don’t have one of my own. Based on this experience I will not buy from TCL ever again nor will I spend thousands of dollars a year at Best Buy. Neither company was willing to help with a defective product under warranty.

Replaement TV under my warranty

Getting a warranty definitely is worth it Best Buy gave me this one and it's fine works good. Decent quality.

Nice Roku TV

Where it exceeded my expectations was the quality of the audio. Most flatscreens have terrible speakers that require an additional sound bar. The quality of the audio on this TV is much better than previous TVs I’ve purchased.

This is basically the same model with a few other features. Light and easy to hang on the wall, easy to set up Smart Features, The remote is also really cool.

I called the store they said come on in it’s here so I went just to find out the TV wasn’t in yet was told they would call me I never got that either.

College apartment survivor

Worked great for both cable and streaming and is still going strong.

Good service questionable ethics

Didn't set it up until Friday afternoon. Soon as I set up Roku I got a sound every time channel was changed on my cable remote. I guess Roku has had a problem with not only TCL TVs but others too, looks like from 2017 or earlier. Of course TCL was closed for Easter holiday. A software fixed was sent out finally early Wednesday morning from Roku and beeping sound when changing channels ceased. My question is why does Best Buy and probably other retailers keep this quiet? If they didn't know about it then they don't know their products very much one way or the other very questionable practice. Be truthful we will make our own judgement if we want to purchase a product. By the way BIG, BIG shame on Roku.

We really like this TV

The only thing I didn't like is how far apart the legs are. We had to do some rearranging to make sure the TV was able to have a surface to stand on.

I like that the apps are loaded and easy to switch from one to another. Nice button to let you know it’s powering down. Sound is so so, hence I use a sound bar. Color is average price was 350 walk out the door. Hope it lasts three years fingers crossed.

The picture would sometimes seem dark but after adjusting the settings it's been good. The default is power saving mode but if you change that it also helps. overall though it is a wonderful tv.

This is a great TV and anyone who already knows about the ROKU interface will completely understand how user friendly it really is. Love my TCL Roku tv!!!
