Broke within a month of owning it.

Used the tv for about 3 weeks and it stopped working. The screen went dark and you could barely see anything. Best Buy would not repair or replace because I didn't buy the warranty. Still waiting for TCL to send a repair person to fix it or replace it.

Broken TV

I’ve had multiple TCL TVs & not had them be broken when purchased. But this time when I purchased this one, the screen was cracked on the inside. I purchased it from the actual store so be careful if you purchase from inside the stores. I’ve never had that issue though, when purchased from other retailers.

Roku constantly reboots

Did not last long.

Finally started using less than 3 months now and last night it kept turning off. This morning it is dead. Remote fine works on other TVs. I checked electricity and batteries but tv is black and nothing on it. Not happy... past warranty but only used 60 days.

Or the fact I could have bought the tv.. 3 blocks away for 60 dollars cheaper? Wrk let’s just say I’ve had a Best Buy credit card for years now.. I buy the tv see it cheaper.. talk To them about it.. they refuse discount and then drop my card limit haha!! I’ve never paid a late payment anyways done and ok tv

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. In order to use the smart features of this TCL Roku TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). However, if you just want to use this TV as a traditional TV by connecting external devices through the various inputs and not use the smart features, you can elect to not connect this TV to the Internet at startup. You will still have access to all of the inputs and features of a traditional TV. Hope this helps!

Terrible tv.

Two other tvs, a computer, and phone in the same room have no such issues. More often than not I have to go into Settings and Check Connection to get it to connect. Several times the screen has gone black while sound continues. Worked fine with cable connected, but not a great streaming experience.

Furthermore, even though the BestBuy website says i have one year to return it to a store I picked, the store staff and the manager was not able to refund me but give me bestbuy credit which I didn’t want. Ridiculous.

Horrible TV and experience

When calling so called Geek squad I got Sidney after holding over an hour. She was rude and acted as though she was angry I called in. No longer will I do business with Best Buy. I understand we're in a pandemic but don't throw professionalism out the door.

Avoid this brand

Worst tv ever seen

I tried using my 4K fire stick with it and no mater what I watch everything is stuck in fast forward and when I call them they tell me to download the apps thru the tv. It then began to work but no where near 4K as described. Maybe 720p. DO NOT BUY. Save your money.

Started out The box not working properly

After resetting it multiple times it started to work somewhat. The color is off and the tv glitches. I need to contact bestbuy. This tv is almost as it’s been dropped but was still given to me. Horrible picture quality

I’ve tried every picture adjustment I can make. Everything is dull. Like I’m watching a cheap tv. My old Samsung is 10 times better. I’m returning this as fast as I can.

My tv was cracked
