    im not griping about the picture quality. What i dont want to do is Roku. I want my catv guide or better yet, my xfinity remote which i can tell it what i want to watch and bada boom bada bing, there it is. No Rokukoo for me.

      Hi David,

      Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. In order to use the smart features of this TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). However, if you just want to use this TV as a traditional TV by connecting external devices through the various inputs and not use the smart features, you can elect to not connect this TV to the Internet at startup. You will still have access to all of the inputs and features of a traditional TV. Hope this helps!

    Well somewhere on the box it should say it’s going to cost you 50 bucks just to activate the TV I will never buy another Roku product ever buyers beware it will not hook up to a cable box until you pay the activation fee it sucks

    The TV was fine just until recently where the TV screen just completely stopped working. Never had an electronic device break on me this fast before, not worth the money.

    Best Buy and TCL refuse to accept responsibility

    This television picture went bad in 1 year and 2 months and best buy and TCL basically told me to screw myself. I've had televisions for 10+ years and the pictures never went bad.

    Missing items.

    Item was Open Box item was not in a box and missing items. I had to return it and then was told I couldn’t switch it out for the same item. So I ended up buying the same tv at Sam’s.

    Good quality and the size is just what I wanted! It’s also very easy to use AirPlay and screen mirroring so that you can watch videos from your iPad or iPhone.

    LED Backlighting dead after 2 years

    $450 for a TV that stops working after 2 years. The LED backlighting went out. TCL warranty is only 1 year. This is a bad product.

    No one answered the phone. I was transferred to another agent where I was put on hold for 1 1/2 hours with no answer. Very poor customer service.

    I’ve had this tv for less than a year And it’s already broken. Won’t power on. Can’t be reset. Next step is to try and get it replaced.

    So I was moving into a new place with a partner, and we were looking for a new TV for our bedroom. At first we were skeptical about purchasing this TV, for a number of reasons. But I can honestly say that I cannot complain about it. It has everything you need! It’s affordable. Love the pixels. Looks super nice and sharp! Overall love the look of the tv itself, it’s super slim and lightweight. Best purchase!
