I read reviews for the TCL 55 in tv. They were all good! I agree with all the ratings. The picture and color are fantastic. Easy to set up. I had a problem during set up and called TCL customer service and they were great too. I had an issue with shading on the letters. Found out it was my cable box and I needed to get a 4k box. Fixed the problem right away. This is a fantastic tv! Would recommend it to everyone.

This TV clarity is amazing to say the least signing up for Roku is easy (you don't have to sing up if you don't want to but i do recommend it it's free and you can choose if you want you subscriptions all in one place) the customizations is great as well seems like an oversized computer honestly. Honestly it great easy to use. Also easy to add the speake. Subwoffer, and voice remote accessories if their Roku. Please do some reasearch before purchasing anything extra just make sure it goes together.

Even though this TV is a few model years old the picture quality for the price is amazing. I would recommend this TV to anybody that's not extremely picky or looking for something more high-end because this is still a cheap TV but what you get per dollar is unbeatable. Something like a new 6 series qled TCL or Vizio m8 quantum or p series quantum is better than this TV but not a lot. and you have to pay hundreds more dollars to get something that's barely better and in some cases it's not noticeably better.

This tv has great color and sound. It was super easy to set up. It was so cost effective and easy to use i went back for a second one.

This is our first TCL led tv. I have done a lot of research and we have not had any luck, especially with bigger named brands. I wont mention the issues we had with Samsung, LG and Sceptre. Already out of the box, the tv looks great. I had to make a few tweaks to the picture but it came out perfect. The sound i was expecting to be subpar, but it blew me away! It was the best sound on an led tv can offer! I'm not happy with the remote, but not enough to make it less than 5 stars!

This TV. has a nice picture and the set up is easy. It connects to the internet very easily. It comes with Roku and that's a nice feature.

I was looking for a large screen TV to replace the 24" tube TV at the house. Found the TCL 55" and it was what I was looking for. Large screen, clear picture, good sound, and Roku capabilities. It was also very affordable which was the part that drew most of my attention. Not top of the line, and may not last forever, but I know I get what I pay for and I got exactly what I was looking for.

I saved the receipt because no one would believe the great price that I received on this highly rated TV. I bought the same TV for my mother in Florida and she had not yet been connected to WI-FI. The Roku component is apparently so powerful that the TV connected to an Xfinity hot spot and ran all streaming services without her having her own internet service. Actually, I bought this TV for my daughter last month for less than I paid for my mother’s TV 3 years ago.

I had an old sony tv that was barely able to run display my games at 1080p. I finally upgraded to a 4k tv and when i fired up my console i didn't even need to play a game to see the excellent quality it was apparent at the home screen. I use roku boxes for the other tvs in my home so having roku built in is nice plus it's so easy to use even my parents have no issues. I am shocked how affordable this tv was also when you set up your tv turn off ad tracking

My first venture into the TCL and ROKU world. This was for a guest room so I was looking for great value and this one fit the bill. The television and the "smart" features are great, and the wireless connection to my network is flawless so no need to rent another cable box. The Xfinity app connects directly to my system and the added ROKU channels are a bonus. I do wish it came with a step up for the ROKU remote control....there is no way to perform direct channel entry to you have to scroll a lot.

Very nice TV. You can not beat this price. It has a nice picture and I love the fact that it has Rocku

This is an excellent tv. Much cheaper than the famous brands, easy to set up and the pictures is great.

This TV is better than I had hoped for. Great picture, Great Roku and u-tube, It exceeded my expectations. I had started to buy another leading bran, but it only had 2 HDMI inputs and no roku. I thought that I would have to settle for second best, but am more than satisfied wit this TV. I really don't think that the picture on the set I was going to buy could be any better than this TCL. Best Buy is great to deal with, totally satisfied.

Good value, great features and easy to use smart TV! Setup was fast and easy. I just signed into the APPs and started watching.

This is the 2nd Roku of this make and model that I've purchased. The picture quality, especially colors, is amazing (wathced Disney's Dolphin's Reef, and the color were simply explosive.) The blacks and grays maybe aren't as deep and solid as newer models, but it is still good quality. The sound is fine, but like most smart TV's today an investment in a sound bar and sub isn't a bad idea for richer sound ranges. Smart buttons for your most common subscription channels on the remote are quite helpful. Three HDMI sockets are quite helpful. Working from home during the COVID-19 crisis, I have purchased a mini PC and hooked it to the TV. And for someone who does desktop publishing, and has two 24" inch monitors in the office, the 55" instant computer monitor is wonderful. I gave this four stars for one main reason: the feet. I would much prefer two flat feet at the ends or one solid base in the center. The inverted "V" feet on the ends makes the stability of the TV much too precarious. More, these feet are just a bit different than the previous TV of exact same make and model and does not fit on the TV stand properly, which means purchase of more equipment that I had not planned for. One other note, the connections (HDMI, USB, cable input, ethernet, etc.) are all on reverse sides. So, my TV setup, with all of the cables, was established for left side hook-up, and suddenly, this TV has right side hook-up. Not a deal-breaker, just an unexpected challenge.

Bought this and a TCL sound bar together. Pleased with both. TV Roku setup Was easy, you do have to log into each one of you accounts (Netflix etc) but once you do you’re good to go. Picture is great and navigation is easy. Just wish the little white status light would shut down when tv is turned off, I don’t like little lights in my bedroom at night.

All stated in the summary. What can I say, it's a 4K TV. Bought this for the bedroom as it sits pretty far away for a bedroom so we needed a larger TV. I have it wall mounted with a no-stud wall mount and its great. Sound is ok but hey I'm using in the bedroom, no need for anything blaring or surround. The built in Roku makes things very easy for streaming. Previous older TV had to have the Roku stick so there is no extra set required with this TV.

Bought this to replace a 5 year old Sharp HD TV. This is my first 4K and first TCL TV, so I was a bit hesitant to make the move especially since I couldn't do any real comparison shopping because of Covid-19 restrictions. Most of our viewing is by cable box/DVR with some streaming and Blu-Ray movies. Lower priced models have been in short supply lately and when the local Best Buy got a few of these I decided to give it a try mainly because of the built in ROKU Operating System. The on-line order and pick up process was seamless. Set up was quick and easy as the ROKU OS walks you through the process. I mounted my TV on an after market table top stand due to space considerations and I'm very happy with that too. Up-scaling of SD and HD from cable and older DVDs is good to very good depending on the source. Blu-Ray display is excellent. Have not tried any 4K Blu-Rays yet. Was not happy with my wi-fi set-up so I ran an ethernet cable to the TV for streaming. Picture quality is excellent on 4K HDR sources. I have not tried any in depth picture adjustments yet, only the main settings for picture mode and brightness. First impressions are that it would easily compare to big name TVs costing 2 times it's under $300 price tag. The only knock I have against it are some back light bleed on the edges of the screen on solid colored backgrounds like occasionally seen on commercials. This is not usually noticeable at all on program material. Have not noticed any motion issues with sports or fast moving scenes. Over all, I am very happy and hope that it will prove out over the long run. It also gets the happy wife seal of approval!

Great picture, and super easy setup! Perfect for the kids playroom. Can't beat this tv for the price!
