I am very happy with all the bang for buck you get. My only complaint is the 1st 55" series 5 I own came with a voice remote and this one did not. I don't know why since they are both TCL 55s5's and bought 6 or 7 months apart. Other than that I am very happy.

Worst TV Buy

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointing product that will most certainly need replacing within a year or two. 1 week out of the box and the Dolby vision was malfunctioning. Had to keep unplugging the TV to reset it. 2 weeks out of the box and there are 5-6 microdots that are no longer functions. Super frustrating. I have been a TCL customer for years now but after this purchase, I’ll be looking for a new brand. Wouldn’t recommend this TV.

Horrible High-Pitched Whine

I bought this TV as a replacement for our faithful 2016 TCL Roku Series 4 55”. Assuming the new one would be a better version of what we had, and believing Wirecutter’s review, I bought this model without hesitation. Unfortunately, the TV had a horrible high-pitched whine, and I had to return it. From my research, I believe this is an issue with the shielding of the power supply. Whether or not that’s true, the whine was too annoying to live with. Pros: - The picture is incredible! Better than many more expensive TVs. Cons: - High pitched whine - Roku interface can be clunky/slow

My way cheaper previous TCL did a better job. Would have taken it back, but Best Buy has too many rules to return an item. Won't buy a big item from Best Buy again.

Roku tv

I have had my last TCL tv for several years and it endured the hardship of being in my semi. Now it's in my home and it still works great. I figured this one will last as long cuddled in my living room. LoL

Not worth your time or your money

It will randomly crash while watching movies, and the remote loses connection even though the “sleep mode” is turned off. Best Buy agreed to come swap out the TV but instead keeps cancelling the delivery for unknown reasons. One time, they delivered my TV to a nursing home in PA (I don’t live in PA). This purchase has been a complete nightmare and I do not recommend this TV or doing business with Best Buy.

Bad experience with TCL

Keeps Turning Off

Worst Best Buy employees

It was bubble wrapped. I asked why it was stated as satisfactory and they said they didn't know how to do it properly. TV itself is not great. Sounds terrible. Low contrast.

But then I started noticing how the motion wasn't smooth. Then about 8 out of 10 times I turned the TV on, it wasn't connected to the internet and I had to go through the whole connection process. I returned this TV and treated myself to an LG OLED B2 and wish I would have done that first.

Died in 10 Weeks

I've notified Customer Service and the agent indicated BB will replace it w/ another unit of my choosing.

Disappointing
