The TV I initially ordered was oversold so they upgraded the model which arrived broken and trying to get a replacement for that was terrible. Customer service is definitely not there for the customer. In the end I got the TV I started with so it all worked out, but it was a long journey to get there.

Great Picture

Unplugged it and plugged it back in and the sound came back on. The jext day the sound went out again and did the unplugging and plugged back in and the sound came back on. This tv will be going back to Best Buy. This got to he a hardware problem that needs to ge addressed. Again great picture but lousy sound or no sound problem.

Terrible viewing angles
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The TV is not bad straight on but the picture quality degrades rapidly at any angle. We were watching playoff hockey and the ice looked dark yellow unless you were looking straight on. Will be returning.

Roku Streaming issues

In December 2022 Roku upgraded the streaming service and since then the TV will not connect with a channel. Keeps returning to the Home page. This happens about 2-3x per week. Roku staff is aware of this glitch and offers a "fix" on their website, but everyone reports it does not work. Very frustrating. I dont recommend this TV.

DO NOT BUY - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.32 days after I purchased this TV, the sound stopped working and/or the TV froze. The only way to get it working again was to unplug the entire unit. TCL has horrible customer service that requires you to take a 5-20 second video of the problem, email to them and then they will take 5-10 business days to "determine" if the problem can be fixed or if they need to get you a new tv. Then they sub contract out to a 3rd party who has 2 weeks to contact you to fix the problem. I had an appointment for this morning and the person did not come! I had to call them and they accidentally did not let me know that they appointment was cancelled.

Broken screen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv yesterday at 10/12 around 11:30am right after they opened since it was the last one in stock.. didnt set it up till 10/13 and to my surpise when i turn it on the entire right side od the screen is black, lines running across it in multiple locations.. I should of known something was up when the pickup location had the TV on its side ( pretty sure you dont store tvs up and down ) and let alone when the lady was trying to get it onto thr cart was not gentle ans dropped it onto it.. I wish I knew it was broken the day I bought it and i would of returned it.. I didnt think much of thr dropping onto thr cart due to theres protection in there right?!? Its gotta get to the store somehow… just a giant disappointment overall since cant even use the tv.. let alone if they do let me return it i wokld have to drive 2 and half hours to get to thr closet bestbuy that has another…

HATE THIS TV

That has now changed, I HATE THIS TELEVISION. I purchased it 3 months ago. It was a huge pain set it up. The sound randomly cuts out. When you need to change the batteries in the remote you have to power cycle the television to get it to work again. I get random pop up boxes with no information in them, just a rainbow flashing outline. I wish I had stuck with the Toshiba Fire TVs.
