I've had the TV for 2 years now and have had no major issues. Pros: - Display quality is fantastic for the price - Google TV provides a huge app library that receives constant updates Cons: - UI can be confusing and sluggish at times - Built in speakers are pretty bad, but can easily be supplemented by a soundbar. Pretty typical for TVs in this price range. Overall this was a great deal for $200, and has held up great over two years. While the UI can occasionally be a bit sluggish, I haven't experienced any noticeable slow downs since I first bought it.

As far as mid range Tv’s go the Tcl 5 series is the way to go! Great picture, good price, looks better than the 4 and 6 series.

The TV has a good resolution and the colors are very vivid. the sound is spectacular and the response to remote control is fast. I recommend it.

By far my favorite tv as far as picture quality. I don’t like that you gave to sign into your Gmail account to use it. Picture quality top notch, sound, great too. I have LG, Toshiba, Samsung and Insignia to compare to. I’ll buy TCL in the future.

I was skeptical when my boyfriend did all of his research and chose this tv as our next addition. I hate any roku, firestick type items. I was very surprised by the google feature though. Since it is google it has our google accounts when you turn it on and you select who is watching and it saves all of your info to your account as well as custom suggestions. It is easy to use and the picture quality is great. We really like some of the easy access features on the quick setting display like the screen dimming (bc it is in our bedroom) and the access to the sleep timer.

TCL does it again. This thing has amazing picture quality and the blacks are quite good for not being OLED. Crazy brightness.

I got this TV during black friday for my bedroom for 199$. For that monster price its an absolute steal. The picture quality is really impressive for a TV that costs so less. The software is kinda sluggish for which I gave it 4 stars and not 5. The sound is pretty good with decent bass and crisp low notes. This TV is HDR10 certified which makes Netflix shows a pleasure to watch (obviously the ones that support it). The setup was simple and the TV has 3 HDMI ports, a headphone jack for the audio geeks and the build quality is amazing for a 199$ television. I'm not sure though if I'd buy it for its full price of 429$. Except for the kinda sluggish software (which I can manage especially cause of the price) I'm super impressed and I'd definitely recommend it to someone looking for a massive television that's 4k qled, supports HDR 10 and has decent viewing angles too.

Really surprised with this tv! It has a great picture. Works well with my Xbox, and was easy to set up with my sound bar. Nice tv for the price point.

Amazing TV prefer this over Samsung currently the picture quality amazing completely in love with it and sound all great. Now the only issue I have currently is some glitching where the tv exits me from apps. I am working with warranty so we will see what they say and update this review.

Its a very good tv for the price of $400, the google tv is a fresh new interface for the old android. some calibrations were needed after setup, plays good audio and was needed to be updated. good color and blacks, plays content well. only con for me is the remote control, was not made well, the battery case doesnt close for me, came damaged i suspect.

Can't beat the price for getting it under $300. UI still needs some work to this day, updates don't seem to help it lag less at all. Do yourself a favor and buy a fire stick to replace the smart features, otherwise a great TV for the price

First "big" TV I have ever purchased, and I was not disappointed! Great color, sound, and ease of use!

Excellent picture. Its great value for the TV. No issue at all. Better to buy this TV then high brands.

I purchased this TV with it's main purpose being a monitor for my PC and it has excelled at that. I will admit that I can't seem to get HDR content to look right on this TV but I don't know if that is a problem with the TV or just Windows 11's handling of HDR signals to the TV. Overall I've always been impressed with TCL TVs they are IMO always a great value.

I have been using this TV in my house for 1 year. So far the sound and picture quality is great. I am only worried about the screen, which is sometimes blurred, and I have to take out the cable and plugin again. This happened within the first three months, and now it's happening every month. The other problem happens when I play heavy apps like HBO Max or Disney 4K movies. It often hangs or freezes the screen in the buffering stage. I discussed this with my internet provider and they guaranteed to provide 150+ Mbps. I double-checked the speed, and that's not the issue. It's about the TV android/program system.

I got this as a Black Friday doorbuster last year. It’s a great entry level tv, especially for what I paid for it… off axis viewing isn’t great, but overall it has nice picture, is very bright, and I’m happy with it

I've had this tv since December 2022. 8 months of usage and had the chance to view it next to an older TCL tv that is not QLED and this blows away the picture. The images are bright and reds are true reds. Very happy and wish I could find a deal on a 75" TCL QLED for the bargain I got on this one. Under $250 with extended warranty. I use a sound bar and could not imagine not...
