Hit or Miss TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Based on the reviews here and other people who bought from the same location I got, it looks like it is a hit or miss TV. If you are lucky you get a very good panel and for some other people the TVs really suck. I got this during the BF 200$ price deal, and probably that could be part of the issue where they were trying to clear up a whole bunch of bad sets. I have been trying to get a good picture quality with different setting changes but no luck so far. If a setting works nicely with OTA channels, the same doesn't work for Youtube/Netflix and the settings that look good for Youtube/Netflix don't work for Prime/HBO Max or OTA. So it has been a painful experience. Definitely not a set and forget kind of TV. Also, the settings which I apply during a TV show don't remain the same all the time. For example when I am watching something on Youtube, the settings work until there is a ad in between the show. Now all of a sudden the picture goes dark, and it remains dark even after the program starts back after the ad. I can still see the picture but the brightness is very low. I keep watching the show and after a couple more ads, the picture quality goes back to the normal. I am not sure if it is the google OS or if I got a bad panel. I know of folks who paid more for the same TV don't have these issues, and also a couple folks who got the BF deal and don't have thse issues.

Really Nice 4K TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is really good for the price. The Google TV interface is a nice change from Roku and brings the shows I'm most likely to want to watch to the main screen. It also lets you search across all streaming services which is great.

Amazing Television
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality is amazing, I never cared so much about “specs” for tvs, but after purchasing this while on sale I must say there is a difference with picture clarity, vibrancy of color and I love it!

Perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My favorite TV. Easy to set up and use with many nice features. As with anything computer controlled you do have to reboot occasionally when it gets dumb.

Nice TCL Google TV with HDR Dolby Vision
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice Google TV from TCL. Very good picture quality. The depth and brightness of colors are vibrant and excellent. The TV supports HDR Dolby Vision which is nice. The sound is not that good though. You'd prefer to have a sound bar with this TV.

Worst TV I've ever owned! Avoid at all cost!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the TV back in Dec 2021. Shortly after, BestBuy pulled them from the shelves due to the many issues it had. Laggy operating system. Constant crashing. Unresponsive remote. When Google claimed to have fixed the issues with a software update, I had hoped that would be the end of it. NOPE. Operating system is still laggy. Every now and then when I try turning the TV on, the screen is just black and I would have to power off and on again just to get the home page. I've called their support number with no resolution. All they say is to power cycle and drain the power, then reboot. It doesn't fix the issues. The engineering team for this TV and software just failed miserably. I'll never buy another Google operating system TV ever again.

Great Price with a Great Picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First time using the Google TV platform. Very easy to use and navigate. Picture is far better than "normal" LED. Actually the sound was better than I thought it would be. Yes, you really need a soundbar to enhance but the TV speakers were loud enough.

Great buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TCL TV is fantastic. Clear crisp picture and the colors are great. Easy to set up and easy to customize without all the bells & whistles of some other brands. I tried a Samsung and Vizio & had to return them because of fuzzy pictures and complicated procedures to customize the screen & audio. I just purchased this so I don't know how long it will last, but at the $399 price point it doesn't matter. And because of the great price I was able to get the Best Buy service warranty and still stay way under what I though I was going to have to spend. If you buy this one you won't be disappointed.

Very good, potential to be great!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really nice TV! good crisp picture with very in depth vivid color. I find myself a lot of the time Re-watching old movies I love only because the this tv show me a lot of details I missed! the only issue I have with this TV is that every once in a while Ill have to unplug it and plug it back so I can just turn it on... it might be a factory defect? but hey that's why they offer insurance from best buy/manufacture.

REALLY NICE TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV during Black Friday. I am normally a Samsung girl, but when I was searching for a QLED tv, TCL kept coming up. So I looked at it in the store, and was surprised at how good the picture was. The Samsung may be a touch better, but to me not enough difference to spend another $150 at the time for QLED. As far as the sound goes, it could probably be a little better, but it is not bad at all. Better than my older Samsung. Just buy a sound bar. These TV's with these tiny speakers are not going to have the sound that you are looking for anyway. I really like this TV, so if you are looking for a good QLED tv that won't break the bank, take a look at the TCL.

Good TV for the value
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google smart TV has good picture, 4K looks fantastic. Sound is ok, would recommend a sound bar for better experience. Limited apps built in, I had to add 4K Roku to use Vudu as it was not included on TV. But great tv for the price.

Great Picture for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV during Black Friday sales on an amazing deal. Of course, you can purchase a more prominent brand like Sony, LG, or Samsung for the QLED tech, but TCL QLED is not bad for the price I paid for. Would recommend at the sale price I purchased for. only drawback is that I wish I had the Roku equivalent over the Google TV interface. In the past, I’ve had better user experience with Roku even though I have a Google Smart Home experience.
