Pretty nice tv for what you’re paying for. I also have a Hisense and they are pretty comparable. This one is a little brighter though.

Get a Roku device and this TV rocks

You do not have to setup the TV with the Google OS, skip it at setup and use it in basic mode (skip the internet setup too). I paired this with a Roku from another BF deal and am blown away for the value. Yes, I wish it was 120hz but that's my only complaint. TV is light and easy to setup by yourself if you have to (your arm length is more important than your strength with these). I watch DirectTV via Roku and the picture/sound is absolutely great compared to previous TV purchases that were closer to double this BF price. I can see people hating on the Google OS, but you do not have to use it. It's a lot cheaper right now to get a separate Roku device that you can upgrade down the road than to buy the Roku model of this TV. Bestbuy delivery was great, they got the TV inside my house with no issues. The fact that it was free is icing on the cake. I don't normally do warranties but the 5yr Geeksquad plan was kind of a no brainer at this price. Other warranties do not compare to having local in house service by people that know what they're doing. My last TV from another retailer failed in the first month and they did nothing to help me replace it and I now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to dispose of it. Never again from that retailer.

What a deal. Got this during a black Friday sale. Couldn’t beat the price. Beautiful picture. The google platform does not perform the best, not a very smooth experience

Good quality picture for a tv of this price. The UI is fine, jsut a typical google UI. The speakers are fine but I would recommend a soundbar for sure.

The TV looks stunning and great and is mostly smooth to use. Occassionally it's sluggish and hangs. But the overall picture quality is great for the price.

Beautiful picture, Google OS is slow

First things first if you are upgrading from a 1080p TV and looking for a >$400 budget 4K tv, this is a very solid option! my only grip is that I hate Google TV OS, its really slow and theres a lot of ads. Roku is definitely the better OS but it is usually more expensive so this is a better priced alternative if you don’t mind. you could theoretically just plug in a roku device via HDMI and solve this issue but then you would have 2 remotes Pros: - Beautiful picture - supports Dolby Vision - Pretty decent sound! - very sleek and slim form factor Cons: - navigating the OS is really slow - Changing something like the brightness takes a lot of submenus that take forever to load - so many ads on the google OS - requires you to sign in with your google account. Overall: I definitely recommend this TV but if you are able to find the 55" TCL 5 series Roku addition for under $300 go for that one!

One of the best TVs for your buck. Had this tv for about a year and worked better than my expensive living rooms tv. Unfortunately during a move the screen cracked.

Very good entry-level QLED television with Dolby Vision. Dolby Audio sound is acceptable, but pairing a sound bar with this is highly recommended. Vey good picture with good dynamic contrast. Would recommend turning off energy saver pre-settings and adjusting picture to your liking.

This has been a great TV. Easy to use and no problems. I had a TCL 13 years ago and it never gave me any problems. Much better than off brands. Remote could be better is my only con.

I'm a firm believer in the Google TV platform regardless of TV Manufacturer. I have three Hisense TVs in my home, two TCLs (including this one), and multiple Chromecasts with Google TV. This TV has a great picture, sound is decent for TV speakers, and looks great in my bedroom. The reason I led with my experience with the Google TV platform is because it frankly sucks on this TV. The TV itself stops streaming randomly even though I have an extremely capable WIFI AX router not more than 15 feet with line of sight from it. The software randomly locks up and flickers the home screen without letting me select anything. When this occurs, more often than not I have to physically pull the power plug to reset it. Given I only use this particular TV a night or two a week for a couple hours max, this means I'm resetting the TV probably 50% of the time I use it (or roughly every 2 hours of use). I wouldn't buy this again and would instead opt for another Hisense because I don't have these issues with any of the three Hisense TVs I own.
