Amazing quality and Google TV

Amazing bright vivid colors and nice addition of the speakers at the bottom giving a soundbar ish kind of full sound which is not typical from slim TVs these days. Had heard of issies witn Google TV kn this model but looks like TCL fixed them as i dont see any performance issue compared to the standalone Google TV and Sony TV with inbuilt Google TV i have at home. Overall, a great TV for the price.

Great picture, flaky execution of great software

I have three Hisense TVs in my home, two TCLs (including this one), and multiple Chromecasts with Google TV. This TV has a great picture, sound is decent for TV speakers, and looks great in my bedroom. The reason I led with my experience with the Google TV platform is because it frankly sucks on this TV. The TV itself stops streaming randomly even though I have an extremely capable WIFI AX router not more than 15 feet with line of sight from it. The software randomly locks up and flickers the home screen without letting me select anything. When this occurs, more often than not I have to physically pull the power plug to reset it. Given I only use this particular TV a night or two a week for a couple hours max, this means I'm resetting the TV probably 50% of the time I use it (or roughly every 2 hours of use). I wouldn't buy this again and would instead opt for another Hisense because I don't have these issues with any of the three Hisense TVs I own.

At an angle you will notice color and brightness shift. Took forever to setup the software. All in all best budget TV for $199

The speaker is not good objectively but surprisingly good for a tv speaker. Well worth the money if you get it in a discount especially. 4k is the future if you haven't already upgraded to it.

I bought this as a short term replacement but it’s actually just as good. The apps are slower but works perfect with a Ps5.
