Great picture. Remote takes times to get use to but wow the picture is nice and the price was so good I couldn’t ignore it. Light weight also.

This actually my second TCL 55" Google TV. Both the 5 series and 6 series have been great. I have transitioned from the roku interface to google tv interface. I like how the system is so highly integrated to my various TV services. The TCL remote is simple to use. The picture on both TVs is extremely crisp and my examples seem to have no flaws like dead pixels. The internal speakers are as good as any I've had in my flat panel TVs. I would suggest getting a TCL sound bar for the main TV. I hope to get a 65" 6 series for use in our living room, as these Google TVs are top value.

Picked this TV up during the black Friday sale, absolutely fantastic TV for the money. Very sharp, has great contrast, and gets very bright.

Excellent tv with excellent picture. I’ve had TCL Roku tvs and the Google set up takes some time to get used to. However, once you use it for a few days, it’s easy to use.

So far it’s a great tv. Excellent pic and sound. Got it at a great price.

Built in Android TV is a big plus for this TV. Don't with about the lag - You can easily disable a few features to make it faster

Got this tv on black friday special for $200. Picture is great. The os os alittle wonky but overall not bad. You cant beat it for $200.

Tv has a nice picture and I like the simple menu screen. What's annoying is nearly 90% of the time when I turn the TV on, I hear audio but get a black screen and have to turn the TV off and on again. I've done all the updates and I don't know why this always happens. Also, I've noticed between very dark scenes sometimes the TV will just flash as if it realizes it has to go to a different level of lighting.

Great picture quality. Bought it couple of months ago. Initially had sync issues between remote and tv which got resolved with time.

so far im loving this tv fantasic quality and price i highly recommend this tv everything is perfect ill update as time goes on but so far im just loving this tv 100%

The TV itself is great, the possible is that it’s a Google TV. It’s assists glitchy, randomly opens or closes apps without you doing anything at all. Overall the TV has been good but it’s those moments the Google software ruins the experience that stops me from giving it a higher rating.

For the Black Friday price it's hard to beat the screen size and feature set, definitely not a high end gaming TV but for a spare or bedroom it's been amazing. Definitely lookup optimal settings from other owners before judging the picture quality and make sure you've gotten all the updates. No issues with Google TV so far.

I got this tv for a great deal. PS5 games look wonderful on it, even though its only 60hz. Couldnt pass up the price, even though i had a projector screen in my room

It works okay for the money. I have a 43 inch TCL class 5 series I bought last year for $299 on sale. Works great. I bought this one on a flash sale for $379 before it was permanently marked down to $399. The bottom line for me is the Roku platform is much better. You have more apps for more free viewing and the initial setup is much easier and much faster. The Google platform took several updates and the Google TV platform is much "clitchier" and much slower. The picture is great and in a small bedroom the sound is good. If you want a TV you can turn on and watch fast, go with the Roku platform. There is a reason the Roku TVs are much more expensive that the Google TV in the same series, because it is better. I find the voice control on this TV is far out weighed by the hassle of finding what you want to watch. I have had problems with trying to just turn on the TV so the home screen will show, but when it does this I just push the Netflex button and it comes to life, then I go to what I really want. For what I paid for this, it's okay, but the Roku platform beats the Google platform by a mile.

After doing some calibrations this TV is very good. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I have had slight lags here and there and that was concerning for being a new tv. The sound is another reason why I does not get 5 stars, the audio needs improvement desperately some content sounds like it’s under water but a sound bar fixed that. Overall wonderful picture very bright and colorful.

So far I'm really enjoying this TV. The picture quality is by far the best feature and was the main reason for purchasing it. The system is a bit more sluggish to select apps and load up videos, but for the price it isn't bad at all, but it is definitely slower than my older Roku TV was, and keeps it from a five star review.

The panel is really nice, the OS of runs sluggish time to time, but cant complain for the price.

Can't beat the quality if this TV at the price. I am very pleased with it. The built in Google TV is a little slow and I replaced mine with a Google Chromecast.

Great panel, but googletv app leaves a lot to be desired. Got it on Black Friday, so even set up as a “dumb tv” with an attached fire stick it was still worth every penny.
